Base Class: Warlock
Perhaps you met this sphinx in an ancient pyramid, or atop a wind-scoured mountain, or perhaps it reached out to you with a vision, from its seat at the end of time. The mighty sphinx, all-seeing, all-knowing, offered a pact: your service for a shard of its impossible wisdom.
You have signed the contract and bear its mark; when the sphinx speaks through you, sand flows and liars falter. In return it grants sight beyond sight, letting you read fate like script in the dust, pierce any veil, and unspool the truth hidden behind riddles, and masks. But each answer births a new riddle, and the map of the great sphinx's mind shifts, like dunes, reshaped by the night's wind. It is a keeper of secrets. The sphinx's plans are measured not in years but in epochs, as measured as the sundial's crawl. As its agent, your role is to step where it points its paw, and to trust that the pattern it weaves will hold.
Will you guide history along your master's enigmatic course, or will you fall prey to the riddles of the sphinx, driven to madness by a thousand-thousand unanswerable questions?
Sight-Beyond-Sight
1st Level — Piercing Gaze. You gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision from another source, its range increases by 30 feet (to a maximum of 120 feet).
6th Level —Third Eye. Your vision pierces total darkness. You can see normally in darkness, both nonmagical and magical, out to 60 feet. If you already have a feature that lets you see through magical darkness, use the better range.
14th Level — Timeless Sight. Your eyes open to the Sphinx’s full design. You gain truesight with a range of 60 feet. Within that range, you see in natural and magical darkness, perceive invisible creatures and objects, discern a creature’s true form through shapeshifting and illusions, and you can see into the Ethereal Plane. If you already have truesight, increase its range by 30 feet.

Level 6: Unmask Weakness
6th-Level Sphinx Feature
You call upon your patron to lay bare the fears and weaknesses of your foes.
Reaction. When an ally you can see makes an attack roll or spell attack against a creature you can see, you can use your reaction to grant that ally advantage on the roll. You must decide to use this feature before the roll is made.
Uses. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You can’t use this feature more than once on the same roll. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
10th Level — Stripped Defenses. When you use Unmask Weakness, the target loses resistance to the damage type of the triggering attack until the end of that ally’s turn.
Level 10: Author of Ages
10th-Level Sphinx Feature
You can cast Comprehend Languages at will, without expending a spell slot. In addition, when a creature you can hear within 60 ft. casts a spell with a verbal component, you automatically identify the name and school of the spell (no action).
Level 14: One Hundred Moves Ahead
14th-Level Sphinx Feature
Your master has granted you visions of possible futures. You have plans within plans and a contingency for each of them.
You can take one additional reaction each round. You can’t take more than one reaction on the same turn, and you can’t use more than one reaction in response to the same triggering event.
