Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Ravager is for barbarians who abandon all restraint when they rage. While most warriors channel their fury toward an enemy, Ravagers let their bloodlust spill over, striking at anything within reach. Their battle frenzy is a blur of claws, steel, and screams, and even allies must tread carefully around them.
To outsiders, Ravagers seem as much a curse as a blessing. They can break enemy lines, carve through armies, and survive wounds that would slay any other fighter — but they do so without care for who else may fall in their wake. Many warbands and mercenary companies fear them, for a Ravager can win the battle while leaving their allies broken and bloodied. Yet those who embrace such chaos know that in war, survival is never clean, and victory is rarely gentle.
Blind Rage
While in a Rage, you can enter a Blind Rage as a Reaction when one of the following occurs:
- You or an ally within 10 feet takes damage.
- You are about to make a melee attack.
- You start your turn.
Blind Rage Effects:
- Your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and difficult terrain does not cost extra movement.
- You gain advantage on Perception checks to notice hidden creatures or danger.
- Your Rage damage bonus is doubled.
- The remainder of your Rage duration is halved.
Gaining Control:
At the beginning of a Blind Rage you may make a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC = 12 + your Rage damage bonus) to gain control. The effects of Blind Rage cannot be voluntarily ended otherwise. The player can also gain control when one of the following occurs:
- Your Rage duration ends.
- You are incapacitated or unconscious.
- An ally succeeds on a Charisma (Persuasion) check (DC = 8 + your Barbarian level).
- Other DM-determined circumstances.
Gaining control does not stop a Blind Rage, but instead ignores anything described in Loss of Control for the remaining duration of your Blind Rage.
Loss of Control:
While in Blind Rage, you cannot choose your attack target. Roll a d6 at the start of your turn:
| d6 | Effect |
| 1–2 | Attack the nearest creature. |
| 3–4 | Attack a random creature within reach. |
| 5–6 | Attack a creature of your choice. |
Primal Focus
Your instincts sharpen, granting you a measure of influence over your chaotic fury.
While in Blind Rage, you may reroll the d6 for attack targets once per turn, choosing which result to use.
Fury’s Discipline
Your awareness allows you to channel your rage more deliberately, and your fury begins to yield when it threatens allies.
- Ally Damage Control: If you hit or deal damage to an ally while in Blind Rage, you may immediately make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 10 + Rage damage bonus). On a success, you gain control for the remainder of your Rage.
- You have advantage on saving throws to resist being frightened or charmed while in Blind Rage.
Master of the Blind Fury
You have learned to harmonize chaos and precision, gaining near-complete mastery over your Blind Rage.
- Complete Control: You may ignore the d6 attack table entirely while in Blind Rage.
- When you would drop to 0 HP while in Blind Rage, you may roll 1d12 + Rage damage bonus. On a 10+, you remain at 1 HP and continue fighting.
- Once per long rest, you may enter Blind Rage without any triggering condition.
