Base Class: Paladin
Oath of the Green Knight
The Oath of the Green Knight calls a paladin to be a champion of the living world — to shield wild groves, safeguard wandering souls, and honor the cycles of growth and withering. Knights of this oath swear by leaf and moon, finding strength in the beauty of life and in the quiet power of twilight.
Theirs is an oath that does not end at the forest’s edge. Its words carry on the wind, through root and river, flowing even into realms where shadow and wonder entwine. Some say the oath’s voice can be heard in the Feywild, where timeless beings listen and answer in kind. Whether this is blessing or burden, the Green Knight bears it with unyielding resolve.
The Binding Oath
When a paladin swears the Oath of the Green Knight, they speak the ancient words:
“By leaf and thorn, by moon and flame,
I bind my hand to the unseen name.
To guard the green, to keep the vow,
I pledge my heart and spirit now.
Should I falter, may I fade,
As autumn leaf to shadow made.”
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Nature’s Grasp. You can use your Channel Divinity to call upon the binding power of leaf and thorn.
- As an action, choose a point you can see within 30 feet. Vines and spectral roots erupt in a 10-foot radius centered there.
- Each hostile creature in that area must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained until the end of your next turn.
- A restrained creature can use its action to make another Strength check against your spell save DC, freeing itself on a success.
The vines shimmer with Fey radiance, carrying the echo of the oath you swore beneath leaf and moon.
Glamour of the Fey. You can use your Channel Divinity to cloak yourself in otherworldly presence.
- As an action, choose a number of creatures within 30 feet of you equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one).
- Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you until the end of your next turn.
- While charmed in this way, a creature is also frightened of all creatures other than you, seeing them as shadowed threats at the edges of its vision.
This glamour is neither wholly beautiful nor wholly terrible — it is the twilight majesty of the Fey, both alluring and unsettling.

Level 3: Fey Touched Cantrip
When you take this oath at 3rd level, a whisper of the Feywild answers your vow. You learn one cantrip of your choice from the warlock spell list. You use Charisma for it, and it counts as a paladin spell for you.
Grant of Green Magic
When you swear the Oath of the Green Knight at 3rd level, a whisper of the Feywild answers your vow. This bond awakens a spark of otherworldly magic within you, leaving a single gift etched upon your spirit. You learn one cantrip, drawn from ancient Fey magic. You use Charisma for it, and it counts as a paladin spell for you.
Choose one of the following Fey-themed gifts (note the actual spell in parentheses):
- Whisper of Forgotten Paths (Minor Illusion)
- Hand of the Green (Mage Hand)
- Trick of the Twilight Court (Prestidigitation)
- Gleam of Trust (Friends)
- Moonlance (Eldritch Blast)
For simplicity, this feature does not automatically add the cantrip to your sheet. After choosing, please manually add the selected spell to your character sheet once. This is a one-time setup.
Aura of Enchantment
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are touched by your Fey glamour. Hostile creatures have disadvantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened while within this aura.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Fey Resurgence
Starting at 15th level, the magic that flows through your oath refuses to let you slip easily into death. When you are reduced to 0 hit points and not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead.
When you do so, you also immediately regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your paladin level.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Knight of the Green Court
At 20th level, you can assume the full majesty of the Green Knight, a living envoy of the Fey courts. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
- You shed dim green-silver light in a 30-foot radius.
- You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can force it to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is charmed by you until the end of your next turn.
- Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal extra radiant damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
