Base Class: Bard
Music has power to heal, especially the music that echoes the harmonies of the celestial realms. Bards who study the music of the heavenly spheres can harness their power to heal as well as inspire.
Celestial Attunement
Your attunement to the music of the heavenly spheres helps you to understand Celestial beings and their magic. You learn Celestial or another language of your choice if you already know it. You have advantage on Arcana or Religion rolls relating to divine magic powered by celestial divinities, lineages, or patrons. You also roll Insight and Persuasion with advantage when dealing with a Celestial or native being of the Upper Planes.
Level 3: Words of Comfort
You always have the Healing Word spell prepared.
As a bonus action you can cast Healing Word without expending a spell slot. When you do so, you can also give one of your Bardic inspiration dice to the target.
At level 14 this becomes Improved Words of Comfort. You cast the Mass Healing Word spell as a bonus action without expending a spell slot, and you can give one of your Bardic Inspiration Dice to up to two of the targets of the spell.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You regain one expended use each time you roll for initiative or take a Short Rest, and you regain all uses of it when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 3: Bolstering Inspiration
Your words of encouragement have the power to heal as well as inspire. A creature that is not Incapacitated may expend the use of a Bardic Inspiration die you have given it to heal a number of hit points equal to the highest number on the die or your number of bard levels (whichever is greater). They also gain the same number of Temporary Hit Points.
Level 6: Healing Echoes
The healing notes of your songs reach as far as the echoes of the heavenly spheres themselves.
You always have the Cure Wounds and Mass Healing Word spells prepared.
The maximum range of your healing spells and abilities is doubled. If a healing spell or ability normally has a range of touch it instead has a range of 60 feet.
Level 6: Song of Soothing
Infused with the harmony of the spheres, your songs have the power to relieve affliction.
You always have the Lesser Restoration spell prepared.
You can take a Magic Action and apply the effects of Lesser Restoration on up to {modifier:cha} creatures of your choice that are within 60 feet of you and can hear you.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending a level 3+ spell slot (no action required).
Level 14: Improved Words of Comfort
Your Words of Comfort ability now casts the Mass Healing Word spell without expending a spell slot. You can also give each of up to two of the targets one of your bardic inspiration dice.
You can use this ability {proficiency} times per long rest. You regain one use of it each time you take a short rest or roll for initiative.
Level 14: Inspiring Healing
Your concentrated healing magic invigorates the spirit as much as it repairs the body.
You always have the Heal spell prepared.
Once per long rest you can cast Heal without expending a spell slot.
Whenever you cast the Heal spell, you can give the target a bardic inspiration die without consuming a die from your pool of Bardic Inspirations.
