Base Class: Bard
These bards practice the art of working a crowd. While most bards seek fame or renown, those from the College of Prestige yearn for celebrity-status, or simply find themselves there. They are people-persons, and those of the same college are a part of a network of charismatic personalities. Many who are unfamiliar with this college may mistake a Prestige Bard as a Glamourer.
It's Showtime!
At 6th level, when rolling for initiative, you may add your Charisma modifier + Proficiency Bonus to your base initiative. On a natural 20 initiative roll, you can choose one of the following effects for the first round of comabt.
- You grant a number of creatures equal to your (Perception) modifier rounded down a bardic inspiration die for free.
- Hostile creatures that can hear or see you, have disadvantage against you during the first round of combat.
- Hostile creatures that can see or hear you must target you and only you for the first round of combat.
- You grant a number of allied creatures equal to your (Performance) modifier temporary hit points equal to your spell attack.
Overwhelming Personality
Once you reach 14th Level, you have a shining personality. Your innate charisma becomes your force of will. When you are forced to make a Wisdom saving throw you may make a Charisma saving throw instead.
People Person
At the 3rd Level, you know the friends cantrip, and it doesn't count against the maximum number of cantrips you know. If you already know this cantrip, you may choose another from the bard spell list. In addition, whenever you cast the friends cantrip, the target creature does not know you used magic on it and as a result will not become hostile after the spell's duration ends.
\Your charming personality affecst how you interact with the world as well, if you spend at least 1 hour carousing a populated area, you can find one of the following, if any:
- Lodgings equal to a comfortable lifestyle for up to six creatures.
- Information regarding the location of persons of interest.
- Access to rare/illegal goods and services.
Talented
At the 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one additional tool or instrument of your choice. Additionally, you may add double your proficiency bonus to skill checks you make utilizing that tool or instrument or a tool or instrument that you are already proficient in.
