Bard
Base Class: Bard

The college's members gather in several corners of the world, from Faerun to the Sword Coast, all the way to Exandria to trade industry secrets and compete in friendly kitchen battles. Through these gatherings, the access to cooking techniques, ingredients, and cultures has become the most prevalent it has ever been, ushering the world into a culinary renaissance.

Bonus Proficiencies

You're particularly well-versed in a specific style of cooking or baking, which has afforded you some transferrable skills. Starting at level 3, you gain proficiency in Cook's Utensils, as well as two skills out of the following: Arcana, Medicine, Nature, Perception, Performance, and Survival. If you are already trained in Cook's Utensils, you instead gain Expertise in them.

Commis Chef

Practice makes perfect,. You learn by honing your craft on a nightly basis and putting the adequate amount of time into studying the works of past chefs. Also at level 3, after finishing a short or long rest, create a number of magical snacks made of dried fruits and/or meats equal to your Charisma modifier. A creture may consume a snack as a bonus action, giving temporary Hit Points equal to two rolls of your Bardic Inspiration die (without consuming any uses of Bardic Inspiration) for one minute. Until the end of the duration or until the temporary Hit Points reach 0, the creature has advantage on saving throws against being frightened and can add 1d4 to any attack roll once per turn. If you create these snacks as a result of a long rest, create a number of snacks equal to your Charisma modifier + a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die.

Sous Chef

Your practice has turned your culinary skills into muscle memory. You haven't had to look at a recipe in ages. Starting at level 6, you always have the spells Purify Food and Drink, Heat Metal, and Create Food and Water prepared, and they do not count toward your number of spells prepared. You can cast each of these spells once per long rest without using a spell slot, and can cast them afterward by using an appropriate spell slot. Food created with Create Food and Water tastes incredible and grants advantage on Charisma checks and Saving Throws for an hour after consumption.

Chef de Cuisine

Your talent is unmatched. Your experience and dedication makes you the top of your class. Starting at level 14, when a creature consumes a snack created by your Commis Chef ability, they gain a bonus to AC and attack rolls equal to half a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die, rounded down. Additionally, the duration of the snack's benefit doubles to two minutes.
