Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians of the Path of the Waves bring forth the kinetic forces of the ocean into their Rage. These Barbarians charge headfirst into adversaries, bowling them over with swirling tides before they even have a chance to get up.

Level 3: Call to the Ocean

You gain a Swim Speed equal to your Speed, and you can breathe underwater.

Level 3: Tidal Sweep

Your swings are as powerful as the waves crashing onto shore.

When you hit a target with an attack roll using Strength while your Rage is active, that target and each creature of your choice you can see within 5 ft. of it takes extra Bludgeoning damage equal to your Rage Damage bonus. You can deal this extra damage no more than once on each of your turns.

Level 6: Rippling Crash

You possess the might of a crashing wave, giving you the following benefits:

Brutal Bludgeoning. While your Rage is active, you ignore Resistance to Bludgeoning damage.

Repelling Wave. Whenever you deal Bludgeoning damage to a creature, you can force it to succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 plus your Strength modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or be pushed 10 ft. away from you and have the Prone condition. You can force a creature to make this saving throw only once per turn.

Level 10: Wave Parting

You move effortlessly through the waves, gaining the following benefits:

Oceanic Resistance. When you first enter your Rage, you gain Resistance to one of the following damage types of your choice: Acid, Cold, or Lightning.

Ocean Skip. You can cast the Water Walk spell without expending a spell slot or needing spell components. You can cast this spell a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once), and regain any expended uses when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast this spell as a Ritual, but only targeting yourself. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Level 14: Powerful Swell

You summon the overbearing momentum of the waves, gaining the following benefits:

Improved Tidal Sweep. You can now choose creatures you can see within 15 ft. of the original target when you deal the extra Bludgeoning damage from your Tidal Sweep.

Sunken Depths. Whenever you inflict the Prone condition on a creature, it must spend all of its movement to right itself up.

Wave Dash. When you move within 5 ft. of a creature you can see while your Rage is active, you can deal Bludgeoning damage to it equal to your Rage Damage bonus. A creature can take this damage only once per turn.
