REDACTED Knight

The ominous REDACTED knight is feared and misunderstood by larger society. They draw upon the REDACTEDness within themselves to wield spectacular powers and augment their martial prowess. REDACTED knights traditionally are anti-heroes that fight corruption and save the innocent no matter what, but they have a natural pull towards evil due to their REDACTEDside.
As such the fighting style of the REDACTED knight revolve around protection and resilience. When wounded they tap into their pain to draw out more powers and punish their enemies. REDACTED knights may use their REDACTEDside as a warlock would use a patron, granting them access to warlock type spellcasting albeit more limited.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells.

Cantrips
You learn two cantrips of your choice from the warlock spell list. You learn an additional warlock cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots
The REDACTED Knight Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell Hellish Rebuke and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast Hellish Rebuke using either slot.

Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level warlock spells of your choice, two of which you must choose from the abjuration and evocation spells on the warlock spell list.
The Spells Known column of the REDACTED Knight Spellcasting table shows when you learn more warlock spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be an abjuration or evocation spell of your choice, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
The spells you learn at 8th, 14th, and 20th level can come from any school of magic.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the warlock spells you know with another spell of your choice from the warlock spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots, and it must be an abjuration or evocation spell, unless you're replacing the spell you gained at 3rd, 8th, 14th, or 20th level from any school of magic.

Spellcasting Ability
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your warlock spells, since you learn your
spells through confronting your inner REDACTEDness. You use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a warlock spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

REDACTEDside

You have a sentient entity within you known as your REDACTEDside. It's simply the REDACTEDness everyone has within them, their anger, hate and other negative emotions. This entity is in other words you, but independent and separate. For a REDACTED knight their REDACTEDside is the source of their power and also their mentor in how to wield said powers, not too much unlike a warlock's patron. Your REDACTEDside is controlled by your DM and they decide how it manifests based on your character. Your REDACTEDside has the ability to use your body to speak but does their best to act on your behalf and see to your needs. If desired you can give your REDACTEDside full control of your body temporarily. Your REDACTEDside is always Chaotic Evil due to the nature of what it is, regardless of your own alignment.
If you wish to temporarily subdue your REDACTEDside and there's a disagreement you must succeed on a DC 8 Charisma check to force your REDACTEDside to follow your will.

Blackblood

Your pain and hatred manifest in living REDACTEDness, so called blackblood. This putrid REDACTED fluid pour from your wounds and give you more strength whenever you're injured in battle. You have a unique resource called Blackblood. Whenever you lose Hit Points you gain 1 Blackblood point up to a maximum of 3. You do not gain Blackblood if you only lose Temporary Hit Points. If you take damage from multiple types in a single instance, for example if an attack deal you 5 Radiant and 10 Piercing damage, you still only gain 1 Blackblood.  When you take a Short or Long rest you lose all your Blackblood points.
As a part of your REDACTED knight training you are not able to enjoy REDACTED knight features while wielding a shield or ranged weapon.
The blackblood in your veins also makes you immune to disease and poison.

Bloodspiller
When one of your melee weapon attacks hit a creature, you can use your Bonus Action and 2 Blackblood points to deal an additional 2d8 Necrotic damage.
At 10th level, the extra damage becomes 3d8, and at 15th level the extra damage becomes 4d8.

The Blackest Night

At 7th level, you can manipulate your REDACTED powers to erect a protective shell around a person.
Using your Action and 1 Blackblood point, you target a creature you can see within 30 feet or yourself and grant the target Temporary Hit Points equal to one fourth of your Maximum Hit Points(Rounded Down). This protective shell and it's Temporary Hit Points vanish after 1 minute. If you use The Blackest Night again before the last protective shell vanished the last vanish when you apply the new one.

Souleater

At 10th level, you can siphon life force from the injuries you inflict on others.
When one of your melee weapon attacks hit a creature, you can use your Bonus Action and 1 Blackblood point to regain Hit Points equal to the amount of Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing damage dealt.
Souleater deal an additional 1d8 Necrotic damage, which you also regain Hit Points from.

Edge of REDACTEDness

At 15th level, when you use your action to cast a cantrip, spell or The Blackest Night, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.

Living Shadow

At 18th level, you can conjure a simulacrum of your REDACTEDside to fight alongside you.

Using your Action and 3 Blackblood points, you summon your REDACTEDside as a creature called Esteem in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you.
Esteem has all the same statistics and features as you but has no access to non-REDACTED knight abilities or features. When summed your DM will roll Esteem's initiative and Esteem will from then on be controlled by your DM as it is the same as your REDACTEDside.
Esteem wield a Greatsword+2 but otherwise wear the same armor as you. Magical items are not copied even though Esteem share your AC rating.
Esteem will not cast any spells or use The Blackest Night.
If you are missing Hit Points when it's summoned, then Esteem will miss them as well. When you take damage so does Esteem but your Hit Points are otherwise independent. Esteem gain Blackblood points from this damage and is summoned with 0 Blackblood points.
Esteem appears as a black shadowy figure with glowing red eyes. Their alignment is Chaotic Evil.
Esteem will heed your commands and protect you but if there is a disagreement you must succeed on a DC 8 Charisma check to force Esteem to follow your will.
If you are ever separated by a plane of existence or 100 feet, Esteem will teleport to an unoccupied space within 15 feet of you.
Esteem vanish and return into your body when slain, or when you reach 0 Hit Points, or when 1 hour passed.
If you desire, you can use your Action to make Esteem harmlessly vanish and return into your body.

You are unable to use Living Shadow again until you completed a Long rest.
