Base Class: Sorcerer
The magic flows from the unusual wiring of your mind, a spark born from rare conditions — swelling of the brain, extraordinary neural patterns, or other strange anomalies. Your body may falter, but your consciousness resonates with the fractured currents of the Weave itself.
Cerebral Spells
When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the Cerebral Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Sorcerer Level | Spells Gained |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Identify, Detect Magic, Enhance Ability, Detect Thoughts |
| 5th | Counterspell, Nondetection |
| 7th | Arcane Eye, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere |
| 9th | Creation, Wall of Force |
Hyperawarness
Your abnormal brain processing allows you to perceive invisible threads of causality.
-
You gain blindsight out to 10 feet.
- You gain tremorsense out to 30 feet.
-
You cannot be surprised while conscious, and you add your Charisma modifier to your initiative rolls.
Cognitive Sensitivity
Your mind expands beyond mortal limits, but your body strains under the burden. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to emit a psychic pulse. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Split Conciousness
Your cognition divides and multitasks beyond natural limits.
-
You can concentrate on two spells at once, but only one of them can be of 3rd level or lower. When you take damage, you make separate concentration checks for each spell.
Mind Ascendant
Your consciousness expands into the Weave itself, transcending physical limits.
-
You gain resistance to psychic and force damage.
-
You can move objects telekinetically as if under the Telekinesis spell, without expending a spell slot.
-
Whenever you cast a spell that deals psychic or force damage, you can reroll one damage die (you must use the new roll).
-
You ignore verbal, somatic, and material components of spells that lack a gold cost or consumable material.
