Whether through natural connections to fire from bloodlines, blessings, curse, or study; you have a connection to fire and the ability to control its destructive force burning all things and people in your path.

Heated Core

3rd-Level Way of the Flames Feature

You can channel the elemental power of fire to imbue your body with the essence of the fire plane and release it at will. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain resistance to fire damage
  • Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 Fire damage.  At level 11, this becomes 1d6 Fire Damage. At level 17, this becomes 1d8 Fire Damage.

Hurl Flame

3rd-Level Way of the Flames Feature

You can replace any attack to Hurl Flame at a target instead.

Hurl Flame

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace any physical strikes with firing a bolt of fire at your opponent up to 120 feet away.  Make an attack roll using your spell attack modifier dealing an additional Martial Arts dice of Fire damage on a hit.

Torrent of Flames

3rd-Level Way of the Flames Feature 

Torrent of Flames

You harness the heat and fire in your body and unleash a torrent of heat and flames burning all those in front of you.  As a bonus action on your turn, you can release a cone of fire 20ft in front of you. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking fire damage equal to three rolls of your Martial Arts die on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At 11th level, the damage of this feature increases to five rolls of your Martial Arts die.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. While you have no uses available, you can spend two ki points to use this feature again.

Profound Burst

6th-Level Warrior of Flames Feature

When you use your Step of the Wind, your body transforms into a burst of flames and launches up to double your movement speed in any direction. When you activate this, each creature within 10 feet of the space you left must make a Constitution saving throw, taking five martial art die of fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Purgatory

11th-Level Way of the Flames Feature

The heat from your body overflows burning all things around you. As a bonus action, you can create an aura of overflowing heat and fire that radiates 10 feet from you for 1 minute. For the duration or until you drop the aura, you gain one of the following effects of your choice:

Flame Burial:

Radiating Heat. Whenever a creature other than you enters or starts its turn in this blazing aura, it must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take five Martial Arts die of fire damage on a fail, and half damage on a save. Anything flammable within the aura has a chance of catching fire.

Resistance. You gain immunity to fire damage.

Enhanced Flames. Any fire damage you deal uses an extra die.

Abyss:

Frostbite. Whenever a creature other than you enters or starts its turn in this flaming blue aura, it must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take four Martial Arts die of cold damage on a fail and have half movement speed, and half damage on a save and they don't lose half their movement speed.

 

Resistance. You gain resistance to cold damage.

Flashfreeze. Any fire damage you do is changed to cold damage.

Once you create this aura, you can’t create it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend three ki points to create it again.

Ascended Flame Aspect

17th-Level Way of the Flames Feature

Your connection and control with fire reaches its peak. You gain the following benefits:

Barrage Bolt. - When you use Hurl Flames, you can spend three ki point to split the fire of all of your attacks. You can send all of them at one target or between multiple targets. This uses both your attack action and flurry of blows at once.

Torrent of Flames. - When you use Torrent of Flames, you can spend two ki point to augment its shape and power. The attack becomes either a 60 ft. cone or a 90 ft. line that is 5 ft. wide (your choice)

- You can choose which creatures are affected by the flames of the 60ft. cone

- All creatures in the 90 foot line take an additional three Martial Arts Dice of fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success

Raging Flames. When you use Profound Burst, you deal six martial arts die instead of five and the range of the flames extend to 15 feet.

Controlled Burn. You can choose which creatures are affected by Purgatory and which are not. Purgatory is increased by 5 feet.

Explosive Fury. You can spend 3 ki points when you activate Purgatory to extended it to a 25 foot range and effects everything within its range. Each of those creatures must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take six Martial Arts Dice of the corresponding damage. Once used, Purgatory shrinks back to it's normal size.

Frostburn. You can spend 6 ki points when activating Purgatory to summon both Abyss and Flame Burial simultaneously.

- Whenever a creature other than you enters or starts its turn in this suffocating aura it must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take eight Martial Arts die of cold damage and have half movement speed, and half damage on a save and they don't lose half their movement speed.. Anything object within the aura has a chance of freezing over.

- You gain immunity to fire damage and resistance to cold damage. Anything that has immunity to cold is brought to resistance, resistance is brought to normal, and normal is brought to vulnerability.

- Your fire damage becomes cold damage and does one die extra.
