Base Class: Monk
Manifest your ki as magically-charged sheets of spell-like power to purge the material plane of the unnatural.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level when you adhere to this Tradition, your knowledge of the otherworldly grants you proficiency with Arcana and Religion checks.
Talismans
At 3rd level when you adhere to this Tradition, you learn to form your ki into tangible sheets that bear effects similar to spells. When you gain this feature, you learn three Talisman options of your choice. The DC of your Talismans is the same as your Ki save (8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus).
Talismans require you to spend Ki Points each time you use it. You can choose to change your known Talismans when you finish a long rest as if you were preparing spells. You can choose additional Talisman options at 6th, 11th, 17th and 20th level. Two options at 6th level (total 5), 11th level (total 7), three at 17th level (total 10) and you learn any remaining options at 20th level.
Once you reach 5th level in this class, you can spend additional ki points to increase the level of a Talisman you cast, provided that the spell has an enhanced effect at a higher level, such as Hold Person. The spell’s level increases by 1 for each additional ki point you spend. For example, if you are a 7th-level monk and use Mortal Binding Talisman to cast Hold Person, you can spend 4 ki points to cast it as a 3rd-level spell; the Talisman’s base cost of 3 ki points + 1.

Trap Talisman
Expend 4 Ki Points as part of a 5 minute ritual to construct an array of Talismans that function like the Glyph of Warding spell but with the rune options listed below instead (11th level Required). Binding Rune- when triggered, ethereal chains shoot out up to 30 feet from its placement point restraining a single creature if they fail a Dexterity saving throw versus your Talisman save DC. When casting this Talisman you may choose a creature type, a specific creature you know or can manually activate the trap so long as you can see both your target and your trap. Explosive Rune- When triggered, the Talisman explodes with magical energy in a 20-foot-radius sphere. The sphere spreads around corners. Each creature must make a Dexterity save. A creature takes 5d8 fire, lightning, cold, radiant or necrotic damage on a failure (your choice when you create the glyph), or half damage on a success. Weakening Rune- choose a creature type or a specific creature you know, if a creature of that description comes within 30 feet of the Talisman they must make a Charisma saving throw. On a fail they have disadvantage on attacks and spell saves for one minute or until the Talisman is destroyed.
Warding Talisman
Expend 1 Ki Point as a Reaction to cast Shield on yourself. Alternatively, spend 1 Ki Point as a Bonus Action to cast Shield of Faith.
Weapon Bomb Talisman
Expend 1 Ki Point to conjure a Talisman when you make a thrown weapon attack, this Talisman costs nothing if you spent a Ki Point to return a Deflected Missile. Hit or miss the talisman explodes in a 5 foot radius centered on your target; anyone in the radius must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. On a hit, your target has Disadvantage on the save. On failure, anything in the area takes 2d8 force damage or half damage on a success. If the thrown weapon is not magical it is destroyed afterward and cannot be retrieved.
Protective Mantra
At 6th level whenever you rest, you can ward yourself and those around you against the supernatural. At the end of a short or long rest you can grant yourself and a number of creatures of your choice within 20ft of you, up to your Wisdom modifier, the effects of Protection from Evil and Good which lasts for a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus. You may also cast Protection from Evil and Good as an Action for 2 Ki Points as if it were one of your Talismans.
Barrier Master
At 11th level your knowledge of mystical protections and bindings expands. You learn the spell Magic Circle; it is always prepared for you and you use your Wisdom as the spellcasting ability for it. By expending 4 Ki Points you may cast Magic Circle as an Action (without the need of its material components) and can do so a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier per long rest, provided you succeed on a DC15 Intelligence check each time you cast it. When cast in this way, it counts as a concentration spell and only lasts 1 minute. If you fail the Intelligence check, the spell fails and all resources spent for the casting are expended.
Divine Possession
At 17th level you learn to channel an supernatural being into your body to empower yourself. By expending 8 Ki Points as an Action, you transform into one of three forms for 1 minute. While in your chosen form, all Talismans and your Barrier Master feature's castings of Magic Circle Ki Point costs are halved. Talismans that cost 1 Ki Point can be cast without expending Ki. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you are knocked unconscious. Any spells granted by your transformation do not require their material components nor do they consume spell slots or Ki Points. Once your transformation ends, you cannot transform in this way again until you complete a long rest.

Your form adopts aspects of a venerable Ki-rin. Your hair becomes alabaster-white, you grow golden scales and a single crystalline horn sprouts from your forehead as you crackle with divine lightning. You gain resistance to Radiant and Lightning damage and gain a flying(hover) speed equal to your walking speed. Additionally, you can cast Destructive Wave twice and Chain Lightning once per transformation.
