The soul of an artist attuned to the weave never lacks for inspiration. Able to create their wildest dreams with the magic of the weave.

Artists Inspiration

Gives proficiency with painters tools. If already proficient gives expertise or the choice of proficiency with another artistic tool set.

Warm and Cold

1st level: At the end of a long rest, you can choose whether your magic is warm colored or cold colored.

While warm-shifted you can use an action to emit an aura of inspiration in a 15 ft. radius sphere centered on yourself. While the aura persists, you can use a bonus action to give an artistic inspiration to allies. limited to the amount equal to prof bonus.

While Cold-shifted you gain the same ability, but you project an aura of inspiration drain (roll an inspiration dice on the next attack the resulting number is deducted from the attack roll) on enemies.

Painted shield

As a bonus action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to magically create a painted shield. While the shield is in place, whenever a creature within 5 ft. of you hits you with a melee attack, the shield flashes with searing energy, and the attacker takes 2d8 Fire damage if you are warm-shifted or 2d8 Acidic damage if you are cold-shifted. The shield disappears if you fall unconscious or after 10 minutes.

For double the sorcery points you may paint a shield upon a willing ally.

Artists Walkway

14th level: While warm-shifted, your Painted Aura Heals up to 4d8 hp a turn for up to a minute. While cold-shifted, your aura produces magical sensory deprivation or overload (basically darkness and silence).

If any of this aura’s area overlaps with an area of light or darkness created by a spell equal to or lower than the level of your highest available spell slot, the spell that created the light or darkness is dispelled.

Magnum Opus

As an action, you can spend 5 sorcery points to empower your Painted Aura. For 1 minute or until you lose your concentration, you can paint up to 4 figures to serve as guardians to defend or attack on your command. unless commanded otherwise the figures pose dramatically causing enemies to need to succeed a con saves based on spellcasting dc. upon failure target is charmed or frightened until the save is succeeded.
