Base Class: Bard

The college of color focuses on using the magic of paint to empower themselves and their allies on the battlefield. Creating enchanted paint, and splattering their foes with its majesty Transforming attacks into the right damage type to fit the situation.

Exploiting vulnerabilities and maximizing damage. Think twice the next time you encounter a unassuming painter. There may be more to them than meets the eye.

The Brush is Mightier than the Sword

Starting at the 3rd level when you take this class, you gain proficiency with painter's supplics. If you already have proficiency with this tool, you gain expertise with it. You can also use a paintbrush as your arcane focus. You also learn to create magical paint with the painter's supplies.

Please view the magic color table to see what color paint does what type of damage. Choose 3 colors, you learn how to make those colors.

Any abilities or spells that require you to use an instrument, you can use a paintbrush instead. This only replaces the requirements of instrument. Any other components needed, are still required.

In addition, your brush can be used as an improvised weapon. You're proficient with it, and it counts as a light, finesse weapon. The brush deals 1d8 of damage of your choice from the colors you know how to make from the color magic table. You add your charisma modifier to attack roll and damage dealt when using your brush as a weapon.

Color Theory

As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to empower one of your ally's attacks. Choose a creature you can sce within 60ft. You coat their arcane focus or weapon in paint.

For the next minute, when they hit on a single target attack. they can choose to roll 2 bardic inspiration dice. Once the bardic inspiration dice are rolled, they are lost.

Add the number rolled to their attack damage. The type of damage is determined by the color of paint you used.

Color Transmutation

At the 6th level you learn to transform your magic with the power of your paint. Whenever you cast a spell that deals damage you can decide to change the damage type to one of the types you know from the magic color table.

You can do this a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

In addition you choose 2 more colors from the magic color table. You learn how to make these colors.

Master of Color

By the 14th level you have become a master of color. You learn to empower your abilities. Whenever you cast a spell add your charisma modifier to it.

Whenever a creature benefits from Color Theory, you may add your Charisma modifier to the damage dealt.

Additionally you learn to make all the colors on the magic color table.
