Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sometimes, the spark of magic within a sorcerer shines with a holy brilliance, not drawn from the gods, but from a deep and unwavering devotion to good. Your power is not inherited through celestial bloodlines nor gifted by divine decree. Instead, it rises from an inner truth: that compassion, protection, and love are sacred in their own right and need no divine mandate to be real.

As a Divine Soul, you channel miracles through will alone. Your healing touch, your shielding presence, your radiant magic, each act speaks of grace not bestowed, but chosen. To some, your presence challenges the very foundations of religious order; you are a miracle without a master, an outsider who proves that divinity can be lived rather than worshiped.

In certain cultures, only those born into sanctified bloodlines are permitted to wield holy power. In such lands, your existence can be seen as heresy or hope. You are not a servant of the gods. You are the embodiment of an ideal: that true divinity lies in the deeds we choose, not the powers we inherit.

Level 3: Divine Soul Spells

When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the Divine Soul Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. Additionally, you can choose spells from the cleric spell list.

Divine Soul Spells
Sorcerer Level Spells
3 Bless, Sanctuary, Calm Emotions, Warding Bond
5 Revivify, Fireball
7 Death Ward, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere
9 Mass Cure Wounds, Greater Restoration, Raise Dead

Level 3: Graceborn Healer

You gain expertise in the Medicine skill.

You always have the Cure Wounds, Healing Word, and Guidance spells prepared, and they count as sorcerer spells for you.

When you cast Cure Wounds or Healing Word, you can choose to expend sorcery points instead of a spell slot. The number of sorcery points spent must equal the level of the spell slot required to cast the spell.

Level 6: Divine Spirit

When you activate your Innate Sorcery feature, your divine soul activates. While your divine soul is active, you can use the following effects:

  • Aura of Purification. When you heal one or more creatures with your spells, you can spend 1 sorcery point per creature to end one condition affecting that creature. The conditions you can end are: Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, Frightened, Incapacitated, Paralyzed, Poisoned, or Stunned.
  • Aura of Healing. When you cast a healing spell, you can spend sorcery points to roll additional d6s equal to the number of sorcery points spent. Add the total of these dice to the healing provided by the spell.
  • Aura of Purging. As an action, you can touch one creature or object and spend 5 sorcery points to end all curses affecting it. If the object is a cursed magic item, its curse remains, but the spell breaks its owner’s Attunement to the object so it can be removed or discarded.

Level 14: Divine Ascension

When you activate your Innate Sorcery feature, your Divine Ascension activates, and an aura radiates from you in a 30-foot radius. While your Divine Ascension is active, you gain the following benefits:

  • Eternal Wings. Eternal wings unfurl from your back, granting you a flying speed equal to your walking speed and the ability to hover.
  • Angelic Form. You are transformed into an angelic being. Your creature type becomes celestial, specifically an angel. You gain resistance to Necrotic and Radiant damage.
  • Radiant Presence. The aura emits bright light as if affected by the Daylight spell.
  • Healing Sanctity. Effects that prevent healing are suppressed for creatures within the aura. Additionally, creatures within the aura receive the maximum possible amount of healing from any source.
  • Resurrection. You can cast the Resurrection spell.

Level 18: Mindshield Blessing

When you finish a short or long rest, you can invoke a divine blessing through your soul, choosing a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). For the next 8 hours, each blessed creature can, once before the blessing ends, when they fail an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw, choose to succeed instead.
