Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

“The future is not yet written—but I have seen what must come to pass.”

Paladins who take the Oath of the Prophet are chosen by powers beyond mortal comprehension to bear witness to fate itself. They see glimmers of what will be — both glorious and terrible — and are bound to ensure that the threads of destiny are woven true. These seers stride the path between choice and inevitability, their eyes shimmering with the light of revelation.

Tenets of the Prophet

The tenets of the Oath of the Prophet are shrouded in mystic vision, but all who swear it share these divine convictions:

1. Vision is Burden.
Knowledge of fate is not a gift but a trial. Bear it with humility.

2. Shape the Future.
Do not stand idle before destiny. Intervene where the divine sight calls you.

3. Truth Beyond Time.
Trust not the illusions of the moment; truth often lies beyond the horizon of now.

4. Guard the Vision.
Never reveal the future to those unready for it. Prophecy can destroy as surely as a blade.

As an action, you call upon visions of the immediate future—fleeting glimpses of incoming danger a before it occurs.

For the next minute you enter a trance of perfect foresight:

• Attack rolls against you are made with disadvantage.
• you gain +5 to your AC

 Prophetic Rebuke.
When a creature within 30 feet hits you or an ally with an attack, you can use your reaction to utter a divine warning, imposing disadvantage on the roll. If the attack still hits, it deals radiant damage equal to 2 D8 your Charisma modifier as the attacker is seared by glimpses of its own downfall.

You gain an additional D8 when you reach Paladin level 7 (3 D8 total) and an upgrade to 3 D10 at level 10

you gain an additional D10 at level 15 (4 D10 total) and an upgrade to 4 D12 at level 18

Aura of Premonition

You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you can no longer be surprised. Additionally, when initiative is rolled, you and allies in the aura gain advantage on the roll.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Eyes Beyond Time

Your sight pierces the veil of moments yet to come. You can’t be blinded, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks. Once per long rest, you can cast foresight on yourself without expending a spell slot or material components, but it lasts only 1 minute.

Avatar of Destiny

At 20th level, you become a living conduit of prophecy.

As an action, you can enter a state of transcendent vision for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:
• You gain truesight to 60 feet.
• You can see invisible and ethereal creatures.
• When you or an ally within 30 feet misses an attack or fails a saving throw, you can use your reaction to let them reroll the result.
• All enemies within 30 feet have disadvantage on attack rolls against you.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
