Base Class: Bard
Bards of the Cult of the Sirene are practitioners in the sirenic traditions; Divination and psychopomp, guiding the dead on the journey through the afterlife, beguiling and charming mortals with their songs and leading them to a dark end. Their name, siren, derives from the Greek words for binding and entangling, and for rope or cord. They are linked with death but in the sense that they facilitate the journey to the afterlife, acting as guides. The Sirens are related to The Fates and have powers of divination, knowing the past and future.
The song of the Sirens is renowned for its power to seduce and beguile and many mortals have been led to their deaths by following their weird.
Siren's Song
At 3rd level bards of the Cult gain the ability to weave a song of dark enchantment.
If you sing for at least 1 minute, you can attempt to charm a number of humanoids within 60 feet of you who listened to all of it, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).
Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed. While charmed in this way the target is mesmerized by you and will willingly follow you wherever you lead it. They will resist or evade anyone who attempts to impede them in this, although they will avoid violence. This effect ends on a target after 1 hour, or if it takes any damage, if you attack it, or if it witnesses you attacking its allies. Once the effect ends the target knows that you charmed it.
If a target succeeds on a saving throw, the target has no hint that you tried to charm it.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until after a short or long rest.
