Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Ninjas are rogues specialized in infiltration and assassination tactics. They use their abilities to infiltrate even the most secure areas, jumping from the shadows to slit the throat of their targets before they even could scream for help.

Ninja Proficiencies

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with longbows, longswords and the poisoner’s kit. In addition, when wielding a longsword, you can add your Dexterity modifier, instead of Strength, for attacks and damage rolls. Moreover, longswords are considered finesse weapons for you.

You master the ability to use the ninja's signature weapon, the shuriken. You double the thrown range for daggers and darts. In addition, if you take the attack action to throw a dagger or dart.

At 9th level, when you take the attack action and make an attack using a finesse or ranged weapon, you can make another attack as part of that action.

Tactical Diversion

Starting at 9th level, you exploit every mistake your enemies make, turning their attacks against them.

When you take the Hide action in combat, you can immediately move up to your full speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Additionally, once per turn when an enemy misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make that enemy have disadvantage on its next attack roll before the end of its next turn, representing a swift feint, shove to the side, or distracting kick.

Quickened Strike

At 13th level, your walking speed increases by 20 feet and you can make an attack with a finesse weapon or ranged weapon as a bonus action and can use your Cunning Action on the same turn that you do.

Lethal Strike

Starting at 17th level, you can instantly kill a creature hit by you. When you hit a creature with a sneak attack, you can force that creature to make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier.

On a failed save, the target is reduced to 0 hit points. On a success, it takes additional 10d10 necrotic damage that bypasses any resistance or immunity to necrotic damage.
