Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Temerity Drake is not a god in the traditional sense, but a living paradox: a celestial dragon forged from the breath of five elements and bound to the eternal balance of the multiverse. His body is a constellation of scales that shimmer like galaxies, veined with radiant fissures that pulse in rhythm with the cosmos. Above his crown orbit five spectral dragon heads—fire, frost, lightning, acid, and radiant light—each whispering truths of creation and destruction in voices that echo across planes.
To bind yourself to Temerity is to embrace contradiction. His warlocks are chosen not for obedience, but for their willingness to walk the razor’s edge between preservation and annihilation. They are arbiters of paradox, judges of imbalance, and heralds of cosmic equilibrium. Their magic manifests in dualities: flames that freeze, light that blinds, thunder that silences. Every spell is a fragment of the dragon’s eternal dance between chaos and order.
Temerity’s presence bends reality. Time slows in his shadow, gravity hums with reverence, and fate itself trembles when he gazes upon mortals. He does not demand worship, but recognition. His pact is a covenant of responsibility: to wield paradox as a weapon, to preserve balance when the scales tip too far, and to remind the planes that even gods must answer to the laws of the cosmos.

Level 3: Paradox's Gift

You gain resistance to one elemental damage type (fire, cold, lightning, acid, or radiant).
Once per long rest, when you cast a spell that deals damage, you may split the damage into two types of your choice.
Your Eldritch Blast beams shimmer with paradox energy, dealing two damage types simultaneously.

Level 3: Paradoxical Spells

The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Paradoxical Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Paradoxical Spells
Warlock Level Spells
3 Shield, Chromatic orb, Absorb elements
5 Fireball, Counterspell, Misty Step
7 Protection from energy, Wall of Force
9 Elemental bane, Cone of cold, Flame Strike

Level 6: Mantle of Balance

As a bonus action, you can grant yourself and allies within 10 ft. resistance to all damage until the start of your next turn.
• Usable a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
• When activated, a halo of five spectral dragon heads manifests around you, roaring in harmony.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), but you can use it no more than once per roll. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Level 10: Cosmic Reversal

When a creature within 30 ft. rolls a natural 20 or natural 1, you can use your reaction to flip the result (20 becomes 1, or 1 becomes 20).
• You can use this feature once per round.
• Additionally, you gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, as your patron’s paradoxical aura shields your mind.

Level 14: Astral Echo

Once per long rest, you can split into two astral versions of yourself for 1 minute.
• Each echo has half your hit points and can act independently, sharing spell slots.
• At the end of the effect, you merge back, regaining the higher of the two HP totals.
• While split, your echoes speak in overlapping voices, each channeling a different element.
