Base Class: Cleric
The Chaos Domain incarnates like no others the only constant in the multiverse; change. The gods and their agents furthering its designs are the eternal challengers of establishments and status quos, working towards the betterment of oppressed societies, the teardown of hierarchies, or even relishing in chaos as both a mean and an end.
Gods of chaos may be associated with the domain in a plethora of manners; they may rule over its wildest iterations in nature, like the churning seas under Umberlee's command or Talos' thunderous storms; they may also embody the concept through the uses of deception and trickery, like the Trickster Loki or Lady Doom Beshaba; or they may rule over the forces of fortune and misfortune, like the patron of Gnomes Garl Glittergold or the Lady Luck Tymora. Very much like chaos itself, there are no fixed rules over the domain's representation, and its worshippers range across a wide array of personalities and goals.
Level 3: Chaos Domain Spells
Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a Cleric level specified in the Chaos Domain Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Cleric Level | Prepared Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Chaos Bolt, Crown of Madness, Nathair's Mischief, Tasha's Hideous Laughter |
| 5 | Bestow Curse, Enemies Abound |
| 7 | Confusion, Hallucinatory Terrain |
| 9 | Mislead, Synaptic Static |
Level 3: Gift of Discord
As a Magic action, you present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to instill an aura of entropy in a 30-foot Emanation originating from yourself. Each creature of your choice in that area must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, each creature rolls a 1d4 to determine its behavior for that turn, consulting the table below.
| 1d4 | Behavior for the Turn |
|---|---|
| 1 | The target becomes Hostile towards any creature within the 30-foot Emanation. On its turn, it takes the Attack action against a random creature within reach. |
| 2 | The target becomes Frightened, takes the Dash action and moves away from you by the safest route until the end of the turn. |
| 3 | The target becomes Charmed. While Charmed, the target is Friendly to you. |
| 4 | The target becomes Incapacitated and doesn't move. |
Level 3: Semblance of Mischief
The unpredictability of your domain suffuses the magic you unleash upon your foes. When you cast a spell or uses a feature in the Cleric Class that requires a creature to make a saving throw, you can roll a 1d6 dice; the result on the dice determines the ability used to roll the saving throw.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Level 6: Hazardous Backlash
When a creature uses an effect that tries to possess you or causes the Charmed or Frightened conditions, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw. If it fails, the chaotic forces that warps your mind turns the effect against the creature, considering you as the source of the effect instead.
Level 17: Chaos Incarnate
Your Gift of Discord feature now lasts for 1 minute. Creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of every subsequent turns after the first, rolling a 1d4 to determine its behaviour for the turn on a failed save.
