Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

A fighter aspiring to the Shadow Warrior's ranks learns to balance their close and distanced attacks while maintaining an upmost speed and precision with all they do, creating a swift wake of death in their paths, though they seem distant and mysterious in their generally focused approached to eliminating the scourge of the lands.

Level 3: Shadow Draw

You have mastered the "three ways" of Nagarythe. You can stow a weapon and draw another weapon as a single object interaction on your turn, rather than using an action. Additionally, you can use your Bonus Action to take the Hide or Disengage action.

Level 3: Shadow prowess

You gain proficiency in Stealth. If you already have it, you gain Expertise (double your proficiency bonus). Furthermore, while wearing Light or Medium armor, your walking speed increases by 10 feet.

Level 7: Martial Prowess

You can hone your focus to ensure a killing blow. When you miss an attack roll, you can choose to reroll the attack. You must use the new roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Short or Long Rest.

Level 10: Counter Strike

When a creature within your reach misses you with an attack, you can use your Reaction to make one weapon attack against that creature. If this attack hits, the target's speed is reduced to 0 until the end of its next turn, as you strike a distracting blow.

Level 15: Shadow Walker

Blur of Motion: When you move, you do not provoke opportunity attacks.

Evasion: When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

While wearing light armor and no shield, you gain a +1 bonus to AC

Level 18: Shadow Strike

  • Shadow Step: As a bonus action, you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You do not need dim light to do this, as you can now step through your own shadow.

  • Deathly Ambush: After teleporting in this way, you have Advantage on all attacks made as part of your Action this turn (not just the first one). If you hit a creature with an attack on this turn, that creature takes an extra 2d10 necrotic damage.
