Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

You are the Lone Wolf

Unarmored Defense

beginning at 1st level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier.

Level 3: Focus

Your experience on the battlefield has refined your fighting techniques. You learn Focus Arts that are fueled by special dice called Focus Dice.

Focus Arts. You learn three Focus Arts of your choice. Many Focus Arts enhance an attack in some way. You can use only one Focus Art per attack.

You learn two additional Focus Arts of your choice when you reach Fighter levels 7, 10, and 15. Each time you learn new Focus Arts, you can also replace one Focus Art you know with a different one.

Focus Dice. You have Four Focus Dice, which are d8s. A Focus Die is expended when you use it. You regain all expended Focus Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest.

You gain an additional Focus Die when you reach Fighter levels 7 (five dice total) and 15 (six dice total).

Saving Throws. If a Focus Art requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice) and Proficiency Bonus.

Level 3: Deathblow

When you make an attack on a creature that is Stunned, Paralyzed, Restrained, or Prone you may spend a Deathblow to gain the following on your next attack.

  • The attack deals extra damage equal to twice your Lone Wolf level
  • You regain 1 Focus Point
  • You may use this once per action.

Level 7: Flow State

If you:

  • Successfully Deflect an attack, or

  • Reduce a creature to 0 HP

You may:

  • Move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks

Or

  • Gain advantage on your next Dexterity save before the end of your next turn

Level 10: Unbreakable Focus

  • You may Deflect ranged weapon and magic attacks
  • Once per turn, you can use 1 Focus Art for free

Level 15: Master of the Blade

  • Your counterattacks on a Perfect Deflect deal maximum weapon damage
  • Deathblows ignore resistances

Level 18: One Cut, One Resolve

Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you enter a heightened state for 1 minute:

  • You have advantage on all attack rolls

  • Any creature that misses you with a melee attack provokes an immediate counterattack

  • Deathblows deal maximum bonus damage

Level 3: Focus Art Options

The Focus Arts are listed below.

Ashina Advance

When you take the Attack action, you may expend one Focus die to move up to 10 feet before or after one attack without provoking opportunity attacks.
If the attack hits, add the Focus die to the damage.

Breaking Guard

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, spend 1 Focus to add your Focus die to the damage.
The target has disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.

Descending Cut

When you hit a creature that is prone, restrained, or stunned, you may spend 1 Focus to add your Focus die to the damage and force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw.
On a failure, it is frightened of you until the end of its next turn.

Disarming Attack

When you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can expend one Focus Die to attempt to disarm the target. Add the Focus Die roll to the attack’s damage roll. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or drop one object of your choice that it’s holding, with the object landing in its space.

Flowing Counter

When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you may use your reaction and spend 1 Focus to make a melee weapon attack against it.
On a hit, add your Focus die to the damage.

Focused Assault

When you hit the same creature with two or more attacks on your turn, you may spend 1 Focus to add your Focus die to the damage of the final hit.
You gain advantage on your next attack against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Killing Intent

When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points you can spend a focus die to expend up to half of your hit die to heal.

Lunging Attack

As a Bonus Action, you can expend one Focus Die and take the Dash action. If you move at least 5 feet in a straight line immediately before hitting with a melee attack as part of the Attack action on this turn, you can add the Focus Die to the attack’s damage roll.

Mikiri Counter

When targeted by a melee attack that misses you can expend a Focus Die to attempt to knock the attacker prone.

Precision Attack

When you miss with an attack roll, you can expend one Focus Die, roll that die, and add it to the attack roll, potentially causing the attack to hit.

Relentless Pressure

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, spend 1 Focus to add your Focus die to the damage.
Until the start of your next turn, the creature has disadvantage on opportunity attacks and cannot benefit from the Dodge action.

Shadowstep Slash

As a bonus action, you may spend 1 Focus to teleport up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.
Your next melee weapon attack before the end of the turn adds your Focus die to its damage.

Steel Tempest

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you may spend 1 Focus to force it to make a Strength saving throw.
On a failure, the creature is pushed 10 feet and its speed is reduced to 0 until the end of its next turn.

Sweeping Attack

When you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using a weapon or an Unarmed Strike, you can expend one Focus Die to attempt to damage another creature. Choose another creature within 5 feet of the original target and within your reach. If the original attack roll would hit the second creature, it takes damage equal to the number you roll on your Focus Die. The damage is of the same type dealt by the original attack.

Trip Attack

When you hit a creature with an attack roll using a weapon or an Unarmed Strike, you can expend one Focus Die and add the die to the attack’s damage roll. If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have the Prone condition.

Unyielding Defiance

When you fail a saving throw, you may expend one superiority die to add it to the roll, potentially turning the failure into a success.
If you succeed, you may immediately move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
