Base Class: Barbarian
Those who follow the Path of the Dread Lord are those who have conquered Death and are meant to be feared, their rage being as unstoppable as the March of Death.
Dreadful Rage
At 3rd level, your rage becomes infused with the essence of the death that you dish. Whenever a creature that you can see dies within 10ft of you, you can use your reaction to infuse your rage into that corpse and raise it as a Zombie or Skeleton (your choice). It is friendly to you and your allies, takes it's turn immediately after yours in combat, and obeys your verbal orders (Bonus Action) to the best of its ability.
These undead will remain under your control for 24 hours, after which they will fall dead, unable to be re-animated.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you can control a number of undead equal to Half your Proficiency Bonus rounded up. If you attempt to create another undead, the first that you created will die early.
Undead Rampage
Allied Undead that are within 15ft of you now gain all of the positive effects of your Rage, and they gain Temporary Hitpoints equal to your Constitution Modifier.
Additionally, when you activate your Dreadful Rage reaction Ability, you can now raise a Ghoul. It follows all the rules that are found in the Dreadful Rage ability.
March of Death
Death can no longer contain you. While Raging, you gain resistance to necrotic and poison damage, and if you fall to 0 hit points, you will not fall unconscious or be incapacitated. You make death saving throws as normal, but you will only actually die when your rage ends.
Additionally, whenever you activate your Dreadful Rage reaction ability, you can choose to create a Ghost. You can only have a single Ghost under your command, and if you create a second, the first dissipates. If the ghost successfully possesses a target, that target will be considered Dominated by you, as per the 'Dominate Creature' spell, and be considered Undead for the purpose of Undead Rampage.
Dread Overlord
Your connection with Death is complete. You can now create and control number of Undead equal to your full Proficiency Bonus, and they will now last twice as long.
Additionally, you can now command your controlled undead with a mental command, and whenever you use your Dreadful Rage reaction ability, you can now create a Revenant. You can only have one Revenant under your command, and if you create a second, the first dies.
