Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

They are twisted versions of Blood Hunters using blood magic more viciously then the rest of the orders. They are in connection to either a fiend, demon or undead and their powers are represented through them.

Soulbound

When you reach 3rd level, you begin to understand your connection to the being your soul is bound to. You draw some power either willingly or unwillingly from them.

The choice you make augments some of your subclass features, as noted below.

Demonic Influence

You have a Demonic hold over your soul.

Necrotic Influence

You have Necrotic hold over your soul.

Spiritual Influence

You have Spiritual hold over your soul.

Blood Dominance

Cantrips. You learn two cantrips of your choice from the warlock spell list. You learn an additional warlock cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots. The Profane Soul Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have. The table also shows what the level of those slots is; all of your spell slots are the same level. To cast one of your warlock spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a spell slot. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a short or long rest.

For example, when you are 8th level, you have two 2nd-level spell slots. To cast the 1st-level spell witch bolt, you must spend one of those slots, and you cast it as a 2nd-level spell.

Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher. At 3rd level, you know two 1st-level spells of your choice from the warlock spell list.

The Spells Known column of the Profane Soul Spellcasting table shows when you learn more warlock spells of your choice of 1st level and higher. A spell you choose must be of a level no higher than what’s shown in the table’s Slot Level column for your level. When you reach 13th level, for example, you learn a new warlock spell, which can be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level.

Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the warlock spells you know and replace it with another spell from the warlock spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Spellcasting Ability. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your warlock spells, so you use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a warlock spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Rite Focus

Starting at 3rd level, your weapon becomes a conduit for the power of your soulbond. While you have an active crimson rite, you can use your weapon as a spellcasting focus for your spells, and you gain a specific benefit based on your chosen influence.

Demonic Focus

When you score a critical hit against a creature while your Crimson Rite is active that creature takes 1d8 extra Fire damage which cannot be reduced in any way.

Necrotic Focus

When you successfully hit a target with a weapon attack while your Crimson Rite is active and you are missing hit points (except your own Hemocraft die damage), you deal an extra Necrotic damage equal to your Proficiency modifier.

Spiritual Focus

When you successfully hit a target with a cantrip or spell while your Crimson Rite is active you can choose the damage type to be Psychic damage.

Bloodlust

When blood is drawn you can use your Reaction to make one melee weapon attack or cast a Cantrip with a casting time of 1 action on that target which was damaged within 30 feet of you.

Sanguine Arcana

You gain 1 extra spell from the Blood Spells and you can cast this spell without expending a spell slot once per Long Rest

Blood Mark

You can cast a Blood Mark on a target creature with blood within 60 feet of you and it lasts as long as you are not incapacitated or the creature is alive. While the mark lasts, your successful hits trigger the mark and you deal extra 1d12 Necrotic damage to the target.

Unbound Hemomancy

You can use your spells and abilities which require creatures with blood on any type of creatures. Additionally whenever you use an attack or spell on a target with blood you gain Temporary Hit points equal to your Constitution plus Proficiency Modifiers (this effect cannot stack and you cannot gain it again until it is depleted).

Blood Curse of the Souleater

Starting at 18th level, you learn to siphon the life energy from your fallen prey. You gain the Blood Curse of the Soul Eater for your Blood Maledict feature. This doesn’t count against your number of blood curses known.
