Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of the Crowns act as leaders, inspirers, and battlefield tacticians. They combine martial skill, divine inspiration, and arcane artistry to protect allies, sway foes, and wield magic with the authority of royalty. Their songs can heal the wounded, fortify allies, and turn the tide of battle with a single note of command.
Level 14: Royal Arcane Mage
Your mastery of royal magic lets you weave divine command and arcane artistry into a single, awe-inspiring display of authority.
Whenever you cast a spell from the Paladin spell list, you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die to invoke the Law of the Crown.
When you do so, choose a number of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you, up to a number equal to the spell’s level.
Each target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC.
On a failed save, the creature is either Frightened or Charmed by you (your choice) until the end of your next turn.
On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.
When you use this feature, roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the result to one of the following:
The spell’s attack roll (if any), or
The save DC for the spell (your choice)
Level 3: Knights of the Song
When you gain this feature, you can replace up to three bard spells you know with Paladin spells of the same level. These spells count as bard spells for you but use your Charisma for spellcasting as normal.
Level 6: Silvered Tongue
Your silver tongue and boundless creativity turn mockery into magic and humor into power.
Fool’s Advantage.
When you expend Bardic Inspiration, choose one ability score.
You have advantage on ability checks using that score for 1 minute.
This benefit lasts for 1 minute or until you become incapacitated.
