Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Philosophy of the Path

Barbarians who follow this path believe that civilization is a temporary "fever" on the skin of the world. They see themselves as the immune system of the planet. When a threat becomes too great—be it a lich’s necrotic rot or an invading extraplanar army—the world "wakes up" a King.

To walk this path is to accept a terrible burden:

The Hunger: You are constantly drawn to sources of great heat or magic.

The Solitude: You are a creature of the deeps; the cities of men feel like fragile birdhouses beneath your feet.

The Duty: You are the judge of the natural order. You do not fight for "good" or "evil," but for the balance of the Earth itself.

Level 3: Atomic Breath

3rd Level: Atomic Breath

You can exhale a beam of concentrated radioactive force. When you take the Attack action on your turn while raging, you can replace one of your attacks with this exhalation.

Shape. A line 30 feet long and 5 feet wide.

Saving Throw. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier).

Damage. A creature takes 2d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The damage increases as you gain levels in this class:

3d8 at 6th level

4d8 at 10th level

5d8 at 14th level

Uses. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

King of the Tides

6th Level: King of the Tides

Your body adapts to crushing depths and endless seas.

You gain the following benefits:

Amphibious. You can breathe both air and water.

Deep Swimmer. You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.

Crushing Grip. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage.

When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can attempt to grapple that creature as a bonus action.

Level 10: Nuclear Pulse

10th Level: Nuclear Pulse

While raging, you can release a violent shockwave of radiation from your body. As an action, each creature of your choice within 10 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier).

Damage. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d10 + your Constitution modifier + half your Barbarian level (rounded down) force damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.

Control. On a failed save, a creature is also pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.

Uses. You can use this feature once per short or long rest.

Level 14: Apex Titan

14th Level: Apex Titan

While raging, you embody the terrifying majesty of the King of Monsters. When you enter a rage, choose one of the following manifestations. The choice lasts for the duration of that rage.

Titanic Form

You become Large if you are smaller.

Your reach increases by 5 feet.

You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.

Radiation Sovereign

You gain resistance to radiant, necrotic, thunder, and force damage.

Living Cataclysm

When you use Atomic Breath, you can choose either:

a 60-foot line (5 feet wide), or

a 30-foot cone.

Once per rage, you can choose to maximize the damage dice of Atomic Breath.

Siege Monster

Additionally, while raging, you deal double damage to objects and structures.
