Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who walk this Path refuse to die, refuse to shut up, and refuse to fight fair. They are whirlwind combatants who heal through wounds that would fell others, taunt their enemies mid-battle, and treat violence like performance art. Pain is a suggestion, death is an inconvenience, and the fight is always personal.

Rapid Regeneration

While you are raging, you regain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier at the start of each of your turns (minimum of 1).

  • This regeneration stops if you are incapacitated.

  • If you take radiant damage, you do not regain hit points from this feature until the start of your next turn.

Annoyingly Hard to Kill

When you are reduced to 0 hit points while raging, you can immediately make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 10 or half the damage taken, whichever is higher).

  • On a success, you drop to 1 hit point instead.

  • You can use this feature once per rage.

Unpredictable Combatant

Reckless Recovery

Whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack while using Reckless Attack, you regain hit points equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up).

Improvised Violence

You gain proficiency with improvised weapons, and they count as martial melee weapons for you. While raging, improvised weapons you wield deal 1d8 damage and use your Strength modifier.

You Can’t Get Rid of Me

Regenerative Surge

As a bonus action while raging, you can expend one Hit Die to heal yourself. Roll the die and add your Constitution modifier; you regain that many hit points.

  • You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier per long rest.

Persistent Menace

If you start your turn at 0 hit points while raging but are not dead, you automatically stabilize and regain 1 hit point at the start of your turn.

Maximum Effort Immortality

Can’t Kill What Won’t Stay Dead

While raging:

  • You automatically succeed on death saving throws.

  • If you would die outright (such as from massive damage), you instead drop to 0 hit points and your rage immediately ends.

Once you use this part of the feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Fourth-Wall Defiance (Optional Flavor Feature)

Once per rage, when you fail a saving throw, you can reroll it and take the new result—because narratively, that outcome was boring.
