Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The oath of passing is taken by those who travel and see death in many forms and understand the cycle of life and death. The Oath of passing is sworn by paladins who serve the many myriad gods or beings tied to the natural cycle of life and death. They see death not as an enemy, but as an inevitable transition—a necessary counterpart to life. These knights act as guardians of sacred burial grounds, guides for lost souls, and protectors against those who would disturb the balance by defying death.

The Paladins who follow this oath can be seen doing candlelight vigils, or at towns after a plague comforting those that remain and were not taken. They vary in personality from solemn and almost forlorn to the compassionate stranger who will just listen and revel in the stories you tell of people you knew.

Tenets -

Face the End Without Fear: Death is not to be feared. Respect and Accept it as a natural part of existence and inspire others to do the same.

Honor: Honor those that have left, Celebrate those still here

Grief: Grief means we cared for what we lost.

Be the Guide. Console the dying, tending to their last wishes and provide burial services to those who died alone. Show reverence to the dead, and provide comfort to those who were left to grieve the deceased.

Watch. Be the protector from unnatural and early means of interrupting the cycle.

Channel Divinity - Oath of Passing On

Final Respite or Letting go: As an action, you can touch a creature and grant it peace or release. As an action you can touch a WILLING creature near death that is ready to pass on naturally and you help them move on peacefully letting them ignore death saving throws and grant the creature protection from becoming undead for 24 hrs, or deal necrotic damage equal to your paladin level to an undead or other creature that is disrupting the natural cycle (Gms Discretion). This damage bypasses resistances.

Return to the cycle: Concentration - Up to 1 min

As an action you can pick up to 3 creatures within 15 ft of you and enhance their weapons. Add 1d4 Radiant or silvered damage (Picked by caster) in addition to regular damage of the chosen weapon.
