Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Many wizards channel their arcana through spell focuses, such as wands, staves, rods, and crystals but you are a goo wizard. Goo wizards create their spells out of a magical goo pulled from the weave called Magislop. Goo wizards are abel to use this magislop as arcane focuses, create dificult terrain, improve their summons (by making them goo) and summon a creature known as a Greater Arcane Goo.

Level 3: Goo Caster

In an empty hand you are able to summon a glob of goo into your hand as a bonus action, and are able to use the glob of goo as a spell casting focus while in your hand.. The goo can take any form you desire but cannot exceed a cubic foot. You are able to place down this goo object but if you move more than 60 feet away from it the goo immediately dissolves into nothing.

In addition, whenever you gain access to a new level of spell slots in this class, you can add one Wizard spell from the Conjuration school to your spellbook for free. The chosen spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots. Conjured objects and creatures summoned with Conjuration spells casted with your goo are able to look as though they were made of goo, however they have no changes beyond visual.

You also always have the grease spell prepared and in your spell book.

Level 3: Viscous Casting

Once per turn, when you cast a spell that deals acid, poison, force, or necrotic damage, you can cause lingering goo to coat one creature or surface. The target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature moves, it takes 1d4 Acid damage. This effect damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).

Level 6: Adaptive Goo

When you take acid, fire, cold, force, necrotic or lightning damage, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to that damage type until the end of your next turn. Your goo briefly changes color or texture to reflect the damage type.

Level 10: Living Goo

When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that targets an area, you may create a Goo Spawn in that area. The Goo Spawn:

  • Occupies a 5-foot space
  • Is difficult terrain for enemies
  • Deals 2d10 acid damage to creatures that start their turn in it
  • Lasts for 1 minute or until destroyed.

You are able to summon a number of goo spawns equal to your proficiency bonus. All uses are regained upon a long rest.

Level 14: Archgoo Manifestation

As an action, you summon a greater arcane goo in an unoccupied space you can see within 60 feet. The goo lasts for 1 minute, obeys your verbal commands (no action required), and acts immediately after your turn.
