Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

In the deepest, strangest recesses of the world - in places long unseen by most mortals, the primordial influences are strongest. Here, an errant explorer might come across the consciousness of a truly vast presence. Should that explorer maintain their sanity or stand bold enough before that force of nature to earn a moment's respect, that force of nature might mark that explorer as worthy.

In the wake of a true disaster - when a mountain collapses on a careful mining team in ways that would surely destroy them all - a mortal might reach out in an effort to save all those they care for. In that moment of desperation, the mountain itself might listen - and it might see that mortal as worth the energy. It might grant that mortal true natural power in the form of a tiny fragment from itself - swearing a new Titan warlock.

After a decades-long journey into the wilds of the Fire plane, a researcher might demand answers from the very rift itself. Where the land splits into flames and molten stone, and where only the truly bold or ambitious are willing to foray - they might earn the investiture of strength from a primordial being impressed by their drive - creating a new Titan warlock.
Titan warlocks are investitures of power. They embody the presence of a primordial creature - a being so vast in power and so ancient in form that to understand it truly is impossible. A Titan warlock has earned that primordial creature's investment somehow - and how is up to you. Whether it be a titan of the sea, of stone, of air or of flame - all of these elemental titans are grand in every sense of the word. Your warlock is but a tiny fragment of them - yet colossal in strength, regardless.

Level 1 Titan feature - Primordial Frame

Your form is reinforced in subtle ways with primordial energy.

Titanic Manifestation

6th level Titan feature - Titanic Manifestation

You have gained the ability to channel the powers of your patron in a tangible and impactful way.
Once per short rest, as a bonus action, you manifest a fragment of your patron's true scale.
You cast Enlarge or Reduce on yourself, without concentration.
The effect lasts 1 minute, although it will end earlier than that if you choose to end it as a bonus action - or if you are incapacitated.
While this feature is active:

  • You gain temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level + your Charisma modifier
  • You gain advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws

Titanic Strikes.

  • Your unarmed strikes improve, using your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls, and they deal 2d6 magical bludgeoning damage. At level 10, you can improve your Titanic Strikes with Unstoppable Blows. At level 14, the damage of your Titanic Strikes increases to 4d6, and you gain the ability to apply Unstoppable Blows to all of your Titanic Strikes.

Titanic Nature

10th Level Titan feature - Titanic Nature

Titanic Force.

While you are concentrating upon a spell, enemies within 10 feet of you that are touching the ground find it difficult to step easily. The ground trembles near you - the area within 10 feet of you is considered Difficult Terrain for creatures you choose.

Unstoppable Blows.

Your blows carry devastating momentum. While Titanic Manifestation is active, you can improve your Titanic Strikes:

  • Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, if the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your warlock spell save DC or be pushed up to 10 feet in a direction of your choice.
  • If the target is two or more size categories smaller than you, it has disadvantage on this saving throw.
  • If the creature fails the saving throw and is unable to move the full distance, it suffers the damage from your unarmed strike a second time.
  • On a successful saving throw, the creature is not pushed and suffers no additional effect.

Worldbreaker's Momentum

14th Level Titan feature - Worldbreaker's Momentum

Your presence becomes unstoppable. Every spell and somatic you perform carries with it the weight of the Titan that invests within you. Your footsteps tremble the ground before you, and your will is as imposing as it is unstoppable.

Will of a Titan.

When making Constitution Saving Throws to maintain concentration on a spell, any roll with a total of less than 10 can be considered a 10 instead.

Primordial Form.

While Titanic Manifestation is active, the following changes apply:

  • When using Titanic Manifestation to Enlarge yourself, you increase your size by 2 categories, instead of one.
  • Your Titanic Strikes now deal 4d6 magical bludgeoning damage instead of 2d6 magical bludgeoning damage.
  • The momentum push and damage from your Unstoppable Blows can now be applied to every Titanic Strike you hit with, rather than once per turn.
