Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The powers of the Calamity Domain stem from gods and other beliefs related to natural disasters, diseases, plagues, droughts, famine, and other misfortunes. Calamity Clerics encompass both those who seek to cause trouble and those who seek to prevent it. They may worship the deity or fear it and seek to appease it so that it does not devastate a region in fury or whim. Some of these clerics serve as heralds of their deities, warning the people of approaching disasters. Whatever their intention, these clerics are usually feared and even avoided by the population.

Level 3: Reinforce Misfortune

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to channel divine power to amplify misfortunes. When a creature you can see within 30 feet of you succeeds on a saving throw against damage or a condition, you can, as a Reaction, expend one use of your Channel Divinity to have the creature reroll the d20 and use the lowest result, potentially turning the success into a failure. If you do this and the creature fails the saving throw, it also takes Psychic damage equal to your Cleric level plus your Wisdom modifier.

Level 3: Terrifying Calamity

Starting at 3rd level, your displays of calamity cause despair. Whenever a creature fails a saving throw or is hit by an attack from a spell on the Calamity Domain Spells table that you cast, that creature gains the Frightened condition until the end of your next turn.

Level 6: Shaped by Tragedy

At 6th level, you are so accustomed to traumatic and debilitating situations that your body and mind have become more resilient. You have Resistance to Poison and Psychic damage, and you have Advantage on saving throws to avoid and end the Frightened and Poisoned conditions.

Level 17: Shared Suffering

At 17th level, you become able to make two creatures share the pain between them. When you cast a spell from the Calamity Domain Spells table that targets only one creature, you can, as part of the casting, expend one use of your Channel Divinity to target a second creature within range.

Additionally, when you cast Bestow Curse, you have access to the following effect option: While you and the target are within 60 feet of each other, you have Resistance to all damage, and each time you take damage, the target takes the same amount of damage.
