Base Class: Warlock
You have made a pact with a mighty dragon, be it a great wyrm, powerful ancient dragon, or draconic archmage, they are a creature of immense power and ancient wisdom. Such entities are beings of immeasurable strength, magical prowess, and often insatiable greed. They are the scourge of continents, protectors of kingdoms, and amongst the most powerful creatures of the material plane of existence. These dragons make pacts with mortals to extend their reach, expand their horde, and serve a myriad of other purposes.
Whether your patron is a noble metallic dragon, or a fearsome chromatic one you have been granted a fraction of their draconic might in exchange for your service.
Level 3: draconic energy
Your draconic patron grants you a portion of its innate connection to certain types of damage. Choose one damage type from Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison, when you finish a Long Rest you can change this damage type.
When you cast a Warlock spell that deals that kind of damage, or damage a creature with a melee or ranged Attack, you can choose to deal an additional amount of damage, of your chosen damage type, equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You can deal additional damage a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus until you finish a Long Rest.
Level 3: dragonsight
Your patron temporarily suffuses you with its draconic perception. You can use a Bonus Action to gain Blindsight out to a range of 30 feet. This lasts for a number of minutes equal to your Warlock level.
Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you finish a Short Rest or a Long Rest unless you expend a Pact Magic spell slot (no action required) to restore your use of it.
Level 3: dragon spells
Your dragon patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Dragon Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
Level 6: fear the dragon
You can briefly manifest an aspect of your patron's terrific form.
When you deal additional damage to a creature with your Draconic Energy feature you can use a Reaction to force that creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell have DC. On a failed save the creature becomes Frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Level 10: draconic resistance
Your connection to your patron gives your supernatural resistance to damage. Choose one damage type from Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison, when you finish a Long Rest you can change this damage type. You gain Resistance to that damage type until you choose a new type of damage with this feature.
