Base Class: Fighter
You lack physical sight for one reason or another. Whatever your reason maybe, youve refused to allow this to limit your skills in combat. Through sheer tenacity and training you've managed to gain a set of special senses. Through practice with these new "sights" you have managed to become a well defined fighter in your own right. Though you may never see the world fully, you have learned how to make a place in it for yourself among the legends.
Tonesight
Level 3: Tonesight
You possess a specialized sense that replaces your normal vision.
• 60-foot Range: You have the Blinded condition. However, within a 60-foot radius, you ignore the mechanical penalties of the Blinded condition for any creature or object that is not behind Total Cover. You still suffer the full effects of the Blinded condition against anything beyond this range.
• Aura Perception: Within this range, you can "see" the locations of creatures (including Undead and Constructs) and active spells as burning halos. All other objects, structures, and terrain appear as grey-outlined, solid shadows.
• Line of Sight: This sense requires a clear path to the target. It cannot penetrate Total Cover; a wall or closed door blocks your Tonesight just as it would normal vision.
• Limitations: You cannot perceive colors, fine textures, or specific facial features, and you automatically fail any ability check that requires sight-based detail (such as reading). This sense is still fooled by Invisibility and Illusions (which possess their own false, "noisy" auras).
Keen Senses: Your reliance on non-visual cues has heightened your other senses to supernatural levels. You have Advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Harmonic Aspect
You have learned to calibrate your spirit to match the five fundamental frequencies you perceive. As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of this feature to enter a Harmonic Aspect. This aspect lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are Incapacitated or if you end it as a free action
• Uses: You have 2 uses of this feature. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
While in an Aspect, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d4 Damage of a specific type. Additionally, you gain a passive combat benefit:
• Aspect of Ignition (Fire): You mirror the volatile aggression of flame.
• Damage: Fire.
• Benefit: Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, the target and one other creature of your choice within 5 feet of it take Fire damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
• Aspect of the Torrent (Water): You mirror the fluid, shifting nature of a stream.
• Damage: Cold.
• Benefit: You can take the Disengage or Dash action as a Bonus Action.
• Aspect of the Monolith (Earth): You mirror the heavy, gravitational hum of stone.
• Damage: Force.
• Benefit: You have Advantage on Strength Saving Throws, and you cannot be knocked Prone or moved against your will.
• Aspect of the Gale (Wind): You mirror the weightless freedom of the wind.
• Damage: Lightning.
• Benefit: Your Movement Speed increases by 10 feet, and moving through difficult terrain costs you no extra movement.
• Aspect of the Razor (Metal): You mirror the sharp, cutting pitch of a blade.
• Damage: Thunder.
• Benefit: Your weapon attacks score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Sight of the Soul
You have learned to interpret the emotional "colors" and structural inconsistencies of the auras you see.
• The Honest Eye: You gain proficiency in the Insight skill. If you already have proficiency in this skill, you gain Expertise (doubling your proficiency bonus).
• Piercing the Falsehood: Your Tonesight allows you to perceive the artificial "static" of magical fabrications. You have Advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) checks made to discern illusions.
Expertise
Expertise with the Insight skill.
Proficiency
Proficiency with Insight skill.
Rapid Callibration
You have mastered the ability to shift your frequency mid-combat, adapting to the rhythm of the battle.
• Amplified Output: The extra damage from your Harmonic Aspect increases to 1d6.
• Phase Shift: While you are in a Harmonic Aspect, you can use a Bonus Action to switch your active Aspect to a different one. This does not expend a use of your Harmonic Aspects feature and does not reset the 1-minute duration.
Elemental Warding
Your attunement to the elements is so profound that you become partially unified with them.
• Relentless Resonance: If you roll Initiative and have no uses of Harmonic Aspects remaining, you regain 1 use.
• Protective Harmony: While in a Harmonic Aspect, you have Resistance to the damage type associated with that Aspect.
The Perfect Chord
You achieve a state of perfect vibratory unity, harmonizing multiple frequencies at once.
• Resonant Mastery: The extra damage from your Harmonic Aspects increases to 1d8.
Polyphonic State: When you activate your Harmonic Aspects, you can choose to embody two Aspects simultaneously.
• Cost: This consumes 2 uses of your feature (emptying your pool instantly).
• Effect: You gain the Damage Type, Passive Benefit and Reistance of both chosen Aspects for the duration. You choose which of the two damage types apply when you deal the extra damage.
