Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the Way of the Jedi Arts seek harmony between body, mind, and the unseen currents that bind all living things. Through discipline, meditation, and restraint, they learn to let this subtle energy flow through them rather than dominate it. To a Jedi, violence is a last resort, and power is a responsibility — not a right.
Practitioners of the Jedi Arts develop an almost preternatural awareness of their surroundings, sensing disturbances in the flow of life and emotion before danger strikes. Their bonded weapons move as extensions of will and intention, guided by calm focus rather than brute force. With a gesture or a thought, a Jedi can redirect an enemy’s momentum, shield allies from harm, or pacify a foe without ending their life.
As they advance, Jedi learn to project their serenity outward. Through battle meditation and protective techniques, they steady companions, turning chaos into coordination. Even when forced to wield destructive energy, a true Jedi tempers power with mercy, believing that balance is preserved not by domination, but by understanding and restraint.
- Requires Good Alinements
Level 3: Force Initiate
At the moment your training deepens beyond physical perfection, you learn to listen to the subtle currents that flow through all living things. Through patience, meditation, and disciplined focus, you take your first true steps into communion with the Force.
You learn to extend your awareness beyond sight, to move with impossible speed, and to manipulate matter through calm intent rather than brute strength. Your power does not come from command, but from alignment — allowing the Force to act through you when balance demands it.
At 3rd level, you gain access to the following Force techniques:
-
Telekinetic Fling
-
Force Sense
-
Force Speed / Force Jump
These abilities represent foundational Force training and form the basis upon which all further Jedi Arts are built.
Force Weapon Bond
Through focused meditation and disciplined control of the Force, you establish a persistent telekinetic connection between yourself and a chosen weapon.
Over the course of 1 hour, which can be completed during a Short Rest, you maintain uninterrupted focus while keeping the weapon within your reach. At the conclusion of this meditation, you attune your will to the weapon, forging a Force bond between you and it. The bond fails if another creature is already bonded to the weapon, or if the weapon is a magic item to which another creature is attuned.
While bonded, the weapon moves as an extension of your will:
-
You cannot be disarmed of the bonded weapon unless you have the Incapacitated condition.
-
If the bonded weapon is on the same plane of existence, you can use a Bonus Action to summon it to your hand, drawing it to you instantly through the Force.
You may maintain Force bonds with up to two weapons at a time. You can summon only one bonded weapon with a bonus action. If you attempt to form a bond with a third weapon, the bond with one of your existing bonded weapons immediately ends.
Level 6: Force Disciplines
Your mastery of the Force deepens beyond raw movement and perception, expanding into refined techniques of protection and subtle influence. Through disciplined focus, you learn not only to shield yourself and others from harm, but to guide thoughts away from violence when words and patience would otherwise fail.
At 6th level, you gain access to advanced Force disciplines:
-
Force Barrier, allowing you to interpose telekinetic defenses at a moment’s notice.
-
Mind Trick, enabling you to cloud perceptions and gently redirect the intentions of others.
These techniques reflect a Jedi’s growing understanding that true strength lies not merely in striking down enemies, but in preventing conflict altogether — whether by shielding the vulnerable or calming a dangerous mind.
Level 11: Battle Ready
Through experience, discipline, and deep attunement to the Force, you are never truly unprepared for conflict. Your awareness sharpens moments before battle begins, allowing you to steady both yourself and those who fight beside you.
At 11th level, you gain the following benefits:
-
You learn Battle Meditation, allowing you to bolster allies through focused Force guidance.
-
Your connection to the Force heightens your awareness and intuition:
-
You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.
If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain expertise in Wisdom saving throws. - You gain +2 to your wisdom
-
-
You gain proficiency in the Insight and Perception skills.
If you already have proficiency in either skill, you gain expertise in that skill instead.
These abilities reflect a Jedi’s readiness for battle — not through aggression, but through clarity, foresight, and unity of purpose.
Level 17: Master of the Light
Your journey through discipline, restraint, and understanding reaches its fulfillment. You no longer struggle to guide the Force — you embody its calm, luminous flow. In moments of crisis, your presence alone steadies the battlefield, and when action is required, your power is precise, deliberate, and merciful.
At 17th level, you perfect the highest expressions of the Light Side. You gain access to:
-
Force Heal, allowing you to restore life and vitality through focused Force energy.
-
Electric Judgment, a controlled manifestation of destructive power tempered by restraint and intent.
These techniques represent mastery without domination. You wield the Force not to overwhelm, but to restore balance — defending life, ending conflicts decisively, and proving that true strength lies in control, compassion, and clarity of purpose.
