Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Gardeners are magically enhanced plants that after a series of events and help from some people from the ritual circle have given them much more power.

They have allied themselves with the Greenfang tribe of lizsrdfolk, giving them humanoids to tend to the Garden. As they grew so too did the family the welcomed. Now people flock to the Garden as place of growth and Safety.

Garden Companion (Level 3)

You magically summon a plant companion, which draws strength from your bond with the Gardener Family. Choose its stat block: Plant of Growth, Plant of THorn, or Plant of Bark. You also determine the kind of plant it is, choosing a kind appropriate for the stat block.

The plant is Friendly to you and your allies and obeys your commands. It withers away if you die.

**The Plant in Combat.** In combat, the Plant acts during your turn. It can move and use its Reaction on its own, but the only action it takes is the Dodge action unless you take a Bonus Action to command it to take an action in its stat block or some other action. If you have the Incapacitated condition, the beast acts on its own and isn’t limited to the Dodge action.

*Restoring or Replacing the Plant.* If the Plant has died within the last hour, you can take a Magic action to touch it and expend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher. The beast returns to life after 1 minute with all its Hit Points restored.

Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can summon a different plant, which appears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. You choose its stat block and appearance. If you already have a plant from this feature, the old one vanishes when the new one appears.
