Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Swordsman's life is defined by rigorous training, meditation, and a singular dedication to their chosen weapon. They forgo heavy armor, trusting their cultivation and reflexes, honed by years of practicing. They consider the Dao to be their path to immortality and will lead them toward their destined power. On the path to enlightenment, one must make sure to not lose their way.

Level 3: Cultivator’s Rush

When you spend Focus point to use Patient Defense or Step of the Wind, your next single Weapon Attack has a wisdom modifier added to the damage calculation.

Level 3: Flying Qi Weapon

You've mastered the technique of projecting your weapon using spiritual energy. If you had spend 1 Focus Point this or in previous turn your Weapon Attacks with a Simple Weapon or a Martial Weapon that have the Light property you are wielding may be performed at range this turn. The range of this attack is 60 feet, its damage calculation is the same as your Melee Attack.

Flying Qi Weapon Attack is considered as Melee Attack and can benefits from the Cultivator's Rush and Extra Attacks Feature, thus it does not suffer from Range Attack Disadvantage when standing close to enemies. The weapon instantly returns to your hand after the attack ends.

Level 6: Heavenly Qi

Once per Short Rest (and Long Rest), as an Action, you can channel your Focus points to stand on your weapon by spending 2 Focus points. You gain a Flying Speed equal to your current Walking Speed. This effect lasts for 10 minutes. You can still use your Monk Features normally while this effect lasts.

This effect ends early if any of the following occur:

  • You are incapacitated
  • You willingly end the effect.
  • You take a Short or Long Rest.

Once during this Flying effect, you may take Heavenly Strike (Action) (can only be use as first attack), this Attack Action may be considered as Unarmed Strike, but must be declared before the action is performed else it is a Weapon Attack. Choose one creature you can see within 30 feet. You descend in a blur and strike with overwhelming force, dealing damage equal to 1D4 per Monk level, using your weapon’s damage type. The target makes a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom modifier), taking full damage on a failure or half on a success. This Attack cannot Crit and Extra Attacks cannot be performed after Heavenly Strike. The Flying effect then immediately ends.

Level 11: Cultivator's Rush Mastery

In addition to Cultivator's Rush effects, during Cultivator's Rush effect, every 15ft of movement grant +1 bonus damage to the next single Weapon Attack.

Level 17: Master Cultivator

Hitting the same creature with at least 2 Flying Qi Weapon Attacks marks creature with Heaven's Mark. No more than one creature can be mark at a time.

Successfully landing an Attack on a creature with this mark using Heavenly Strike restore your usage of Heavenly Qi and Heavenly Strike without having to take Short or Long Rest Once per Battle

In addition, when you use Heaven Strike, the impact bursts outward. Each creature within 10 feet of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom modifier), taking full damage on a failure or half on a success.
