Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Warriors of Jackpot place their power and fate in the hands of luck itself, entrusting luck to guide them. In gambling their fate they can reach for incredible power all of which can be losed to one bad roll of the dice.

While you are in Jackpot, you gain the following effects

  • Monk features which consume focus points do not require focus points to be used
  • At the start of your tur, if you have more than 0 hp, you regain a number of hit points equal to your wisdom modifier plus proficiency bonus

Level 3: Gambling Fever

As a bonus action, you can expend 1 focus point to Gamble. When you do so, roll a d20, and consult the table below for the result. If you gain an effect from the gamble which you already have active, it instead resets the duration of the effect unless stated otherwise.

Level 6: Lucky Streak

If you use your bonus action to do anything other than Gamble, you can use your gambling ability as part of the same bonus action

Level 11: Double or Nothing

Your attack rolls with unarmed strikes and monk weapons treat 19s on a d20 as a critical hit, and 2s on a d20 as natural 1s.

If you Gamble 3 times consecutively within 1 minute without landing on Jackpot, the next time you Gamble within that minute you can choose to treat a Gamble roll of 15-20 as a Jackpot.

Level 17: Pure Luck

While in Jackpot, you have resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage, and advantage on all saving throws. Additionally, if you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can choose to end the Jackpot and immediately regain hit points equal to your Monk level
