Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who take the Path of the Chained know what it is like to be locked in chains, they know the feeling of being trapped. They use this to their advantage.
The Path of the Chained focuses on utilizing your rage to make a lethal strike against your foe, and immediately skedaddle. This hit-and-run strategy allows you to deal heavy damage while being able to reposition yourself either out of danger or in a defensive spot to protect your party members.
Prisoner’s Rage
Whenever you receive the Grappled or Restrained conditions, you can immediately enter your Rage as a Reaction without expending any usages of your Rage.
Unchained
You have Immunity to the Grappled and Restrained conditions while your Rage is active. If you’re Grappled or Restrained when you enter your Rage, the condition ends on you.
Strike of the Escapee
Whenever you attack and hit a creature while you are raging, you can move up to half of your Speed immediately after the attack. This movement does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.
Prisoner of War
Whenever you enter a Rage caused by your Prisoner’s Rage feature, you gain Advantage on all attack rolls and you double your Rage Damage Bonus.
You have Resistance to all damage and Advantage on saving throws to avoid/resist all conditions until the start of your next turn when you enter your Prisoner’s Rage.
