Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Mashups have particular skills in weaving songs together, mixing songs from all over to form their own music. These bards cast each different spell in their arsenal by playing a different song, mixing them together as they jump between different spells. Their songs can do just about anything, such as curing wounds, charming foes, and bringing the power of the elements down upon enemies. Just as much as they care about exploring new song combinations, mashuppers are meticulous, always careful to manage which songs they use and when (you might want to keep track of which spells you use!).
Bonus Cantrips
When you join the College of Mashups at 3rd level, you learn two cantrips of your choice from any class. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
You learn two additional cantrips from any class at level 6.
Bonus Cantrips
At 6th level, you learn two cantrips of your choice from any class. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
Everlasting Flow
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your Bardic inspiration to continue your songs for for incredible durations. You may use your Intelligence modifier for your performance checks (edit manually if so). Also, whenever you use a spell that requires a spell slot, you may choose to spend a Bardic inspiration die to roll a Performance check boosted by your Bardic inspiration die. If you get above a DC = 20 + 2 × the level of the spell used, you regain a spell slot of the same level as the spell used.
This DC can be lowered by using more varied spells; you can subtract an amount from the DC in this effect = the number of unique spells used in a row between long rests. This bonus resets if a spell is repeated during this time, and this effect cannot be used if you haven't used at least 2 unique spells within the last minute.
Woven Rhythms
At 6th level, you learn how to cast multiple spells at once, making them flow together effortlessly. You can cast multiple leveled spells in one turn.
Additionally, when you cast a spell or cantrip as an action on your turn, you can upcast another spell or cantrip that costs an action to cast by 1 level (cantrips are upcast to level 1), allowing you to cast that spell or cantrip as a bonus action that turn.
Grand Finale
At 14th level, you know how to wrap up your performances in epic spectacles. Once per long rest, you may use your entire turn (including all actions, bonus actions, and reactions) to choose one spell which is at least 1 level lower than your maximum spell slot level and which you haven't used since your last long rest. For the next 30 seconds, starting your next turn, you don't consume spell slots and can use the chosen spell every turn without using an action or bonus action, however, for those 30 seconds, unless you choose to end this effect early, you may only use spells which you have used since your last long rest, haven't used during the duration of this effect (excluding the main chosen spell), and which are at least 1 level lower than your maximum spell slot level. This effect cannot be used if you haven't used at least 2 unique spells within the last minute. After this effect is ended, whether 30 seconds have passed or if you’ve ended it early, you take 1d12 Necrotic damage + an additional 1d12 Necrotic damage for each level in the main chosen spell and lose all your remaining spell slots.
