Oath of the Protector

Those who swear by the oath of protection shall protect themselves and their allies no matter the consequences. Many swear by this oath because of the near death of a loved one. Whilst others swear by it as it aligns with their duties as a guard or parent.

Channel Divinity

Channel Divinity: As an action, you can cause spectral forces to coalesce around your ally’s causing all creatures of your choice (maximum of four) within 60 feet of yourself to gain 3d6 temporary hit points for one minute this number increases by 1d6 at 5th (4d6) 11th (5d6) and 17th (6d6)

Aura of safety

Beginning at 7th level, abjuration magic lies so heavily upon you that it forms an eldritch ward. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have a damage threshold equal to that of your paladin level.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet. 

A damage threshold is a trait a creature or object can have which prevents all damage taken as long as said damage is equal to or less than the damage dealt (this is per attack not per round)

Peerless defender

Any number of creatures of your choice within 5 feet of you gains a +3 to armor class as long as they remain within range

Champion of preservation

Twice per long rest, when a creature within 10 feet of you is hit with an attack or forced to make a saving throw you may use your reaction to deflect the attack dealing any damage that would otherwise be inflicted on the target on the attacker regardless of resistance or immunity (the distance of the attacker dose not matter only the target is factored in when calculating range).
