Base Class: Fighter
Some warriors swear themselves to kings. Others to gods.
Radiant Paragons swear themselves to something far more dangerous: their own unbroken will.
These fighters have faced death, betrayal, or divine judgment and returned changed. Though they no longer serve the will of the heavens, radiant power still burns within them. It is not granted through prayer or divine favor, but manifests from a soul that refused to yield.
On the battlefield they become living verdicts—drawing enemy attention, protecting their allies, and inspiring courage in those who fight beside them.
Their blade is not a prayer.
It is judgment.
Level 3: Radiant Challenge
As a bonus action, you challenge a creature within 30 feet that can see or hear youThe challenge lasts for 1 minute, until the creature is incapacitated.
While a creature is challenged:
• The creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you.
• You have advantage on attack rolls against it.
• You gain a bonus to AC equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) against attacks made by the challenged target.
You can have only one creature challenged at a time, unless a feature of this subclass allows otherwise.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Level 3: Inspiring Judgement
When you score a critical hit with a weapon attack, or when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one, radiant power surges through you.
Choose one ally within 30 feet who can see or hear you. That ally gains Heroic Inspiration.
If that ally already has Heroic Inspiration, they instead regain hit points equal to your fighter level.
Level 7: Bulwark of the Unbroken
Your unbreakable will strengthens those who fight beside you.
While you are not incapacitated, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain:
• a +1 bonus to AC
• advantage on Wisdom saving throws
• advantage on Charisma saving throws
Level 10: Divine Remnants
Your strikes carry the weight of judgment, empowered by the radiant force within your soul.
Whenever you make a weapon attack, you can cause the weapon’s damage to be radiant instead of its normal damage type.
Additionally, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal 1d8 extra radiant damage.
If the target is the creature affected by your Radiant Challenge, the extra damage becomes 2d8 radiant damage.
Level 15: Hero of the Fray
You have learned to intercept danger meant for others and render immediate judgment upon those who threaten your allies.
When a creature within 30 feet of you is hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of that creature and become the new target of the attack.
You gain resistance to the damage from that attack.
The attacking creature becomes affected by your Radiant Challenge until the end of its duration. This does not expend a use of Radiant Challenge and does not end a Radiant Challenge already affecting another creature.
Beginning at 15th level, you can have two creatures challenged at the same time.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Level 18: Divine Judgement
Your radiant will manifests as undeniable judgment upon the battlefield.
When you use Action Surge, radiant power floods your strikes until the end of your turn:
• Your weapon attacks deal an additional 2d8 radiant damage.
• Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw
(DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier).
On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone.
• If the creature hit by this attack is affected by your Radiant Challenge, it has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.
• Each time you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, an additional ally within 30 feet who can see or hear you gains an Heroic Inspiration.
