Druid
Base Class: Druid

Feral Heart druids thrive in ruined, irradiated, and anomalous landscapes. They draw power from mutated wildlife, corrupted flora, and the strange energies of a dying world. Solitary yet vigilant, they heal, protect, and transform, walking the line between life and decay. Their mastery of the feral and the uncanny makes them both terrifying predators and unexpected allies.

Circle of the Feral Heart Spells

Your connection to the irradiated "Zone" grants you access to specific survivalist and necrotic magic. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for those levels in the Circle of the Feral Heart Spells table.

Nature's Embrace

Your body has adapted to the ambient radiation of the Foundation. You have Resistance to Necrotic damage. Additionally, when you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes Necrotic damage, you can use your Reaction to reduce that damage by an amount equal to 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier, increasing to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 11th, and 4d6 at 17th. You can use this Reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Feral Transformation

You can use your Wild Shape as a Bonus Action. When you transform into a Beast, or as a Bonus Action while already transformed, you can manifest one of the following mutated adaptations for the duration of the transformation:

  • Irradiated Claws: Your natural weapons pulse with a sickly green light. Your melee attacks in beast form deal an extra 1d6 Necrotic damage.
  • Regenerative Spores: You emit a cloud of restorative flora. At the start of each of your turns, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you regain 1d4 Hit Points.

Potent Mutations

Your mastery over the "slurry" of mutated life deepens.

  • Waste-Walker: You gain Resistance to Poison damage and are immune to the Poisoned condition.
  • Necrotic Infusion: When you deal Necrotic damage with a Druid spell or a beast form attack, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage.

Apex of the Zone

Your Feral Heart transformation reaches its terrifying peak.

  • Dual Adaptation: When you use your Feral Transformation, you can choose both adaptations (Irradiated Claws and Regenerative Spores) instead of one.
  • Forceful Nature: While in beast form, your attacks deal Force damage instead of their normal type, allowing you to bypass almost all resistances and immunities.
