Base Class: Wizard

specializes in monsters studies tactics and ancient magics to deploy various tactics to adapt to any situation through their power of observation they can analyze the essences of monsters and spellcasters to mimic their spells and abilities.

Lost Knowledge

At 3rd level Choose a Creature type:  aberrations, beasts, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, plants, or undead. It becomes your studies focus granting you advantage on survival checks. You gain additional choices at 6th and 14th levels. You may use your intelligence modifier in place of wisdom when making skill checks. Additionally, as a reaction action to making a history or survival checks, you can double your intelligence modifier before knowing the result. You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your Proficiency Bonus.

Assimilate

Beginning at 3rd level After all your research and studies of the vast creatures and ancient magical theories and practices you have learned to adapt and mimic creature tactics and add it to your own repertoire. As an action you make a Survival check to study the targeted creature, DC=13+CR. On a success You learn a targeted Action or innate ability they performed this encounter with the same parameters. (Ex. Consume Life from Will-o'-Wisp or Stunning Screech(1/day) from VRock) This doesn't work on playable races, constructs or swarm type creatures, you must engage the enemy in combat, witness the action and still be alive additionally it can't be used by you until you finish a short rest. Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest. You gain additional uses at 6th and 14th levels. This list of your Repertoire can be changed during a full rest for combat and situational flexibility. 

Aethercharge

Your studies not only had you brown nosing books but also had you in the field, giving you better endurance then most wizards. you have a limited well of Spirit that you can draw on to protect yourself from harm or giving your spells a potent boost. On your turn, you can use a bonus action to regain hit points or grant the next spell cast additional damage equal to 1d6 + your wizard level. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Aetherburst

Starting at 10th level, whenever you kill a creature with one of your Repertoire abilities you can forgo your next turn, going last in the turn order, to use another one of your Repertoire abilities with advantage. When you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. You gain additional uses of this feature at 14th and 20th levels.

Memorization

Starting at 14th level, as part of the same action, if you successfully counterspell a spell not only does the spell fail and have no effect; the spell is also assimilated into your spellbook. You always have the spell prepared, and it doesn't count towards the number of spells you can prepare each day; however, you still need to use a spell slot to cast it. Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. You gain 1 additional use of this feature at 20th level.
