Base Class: Monk
Monks who practice the Way of the Boiling Blood, study the arts of peace and tranquility. Keeping Calm in all situations, until the moment their lives are in danger. When threatened these monks become filled with rage and are almost unstoppable in combat. They focus their Ki to harness their stored up anger and unleash it on their foes in deadly and furious outbursts of speed and raw power.
Rage
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can go into a furious rage in combat by spending 2 Ki points. The rage lasts for 10 minutes and you gain the following effects.
- All Unarmed Strikes you make can now add your strength modifier and dexterity modifier to hit dice and damage rolls.
- All Dexterity saving throws and ability checks have advantage.
- You become resistant to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing Damage.
After your rage has ended for the period of time, you suffer a 1 point of exhaustion. Which goes away after you take a long rest.
Damage Manipulation
At 6th level, you may spend a Ki point as a reaction to gain the ability to make a Constitution Saving Throw when taking damage from a melee attack against 10 + their proficiency bonus. If you are successful you take no damage and the attacking creature takes half the damage it originally inflicted on you. On a failed Save you take twice the damage.
Blood Sapper
Beginning at 11th level, you can now cast the inflict wounds spell, and add it to any unarmed melee attack you make by spending 2 Ki points. You can cast this spell at a higher level as well by adding an additional Ki point for each level higher. (A 9th level inflict wounds spell, would cost 10 Ki points.) You may only use this ability with one unarmed strike on your turn.
Unyeilding Endurance.
At 17th level, Roll a Constitution saving throw against a DC of 10 + Your dexterity Modifier whenever you use the flurry of blows bonus action. Should you succeed on the saving throw, your Flurry of Blows takes no Ki points. On a failed save your flurry of Blows cost the normal amount of Ki points. You no longer suffer from exhaustion after a Rage.
