Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A Path of Genesi Marked Barbarian has something growing inside and along side them thatbis somehow connected to the Genesis Phage. Though this does not automatically mean they are evil in nature however. Whether known or not, this does mean that they are a conduit for the exchange of energy from the physical world and whatever this plague is. A Genesi Marked Barbarian blurs the lines between themselves and the Phage when they enter their rage. They attack and consume enemies and share that energy (knowingly or not) with this mysterious thing, it in turn then shares some abilities with the Barbarian in order to help them consume more easily in a symbiotic relationship. This Barbarian dips into some minor ability to heal his or herself and does earn the ability to use some of the Phage's abilities in the form of spells "cast" by the Phage but using your body as a conduit.

Taste of the Phage

3rd-level Path of Genesi Marked feature
As a bonus action while raging you can make a single bite attack, channeling the hunger from the Genesis Phage itself. Make a melee attack using your proficiency modifier and your strength modifier to attack. On a successful attack you deal 1d4 of necrotic damage and you heal the same amount. The damage increases to a d6 at 6th level, a d8 at 10th level, and a d10 at 14th level.

Hunger Sated

6th level Path of Genesi Marked feature

Starting at level 6 your connection with the Genesis Phage strengthens. The Phage now affects the world around you through your connection. When you consume energy, you share it with the Phage and in return it helps you sate your appetite.

If you successfully used Taste of the Phage during battle, you may choose to consume the enemy you bit if it falls in that battle. When you consume an enemy, you transfer energy and store it in an space in your stomach. You can use this energy to cast a spell as an action on your turn. Holding on to the Phage is risky however, when using this power you risk losing your sanity and control of your faculties. You must roll a d6 after you choose to cast a spell but before the spell affects anyone. On a 1 you expel the energy for the spell but you instead attack the closest creature to you regardless if they are an enemy or an ally. You can hold a total amount of energy equal to half of you Barbarian level.

You can exchange energy equal to 1  in order to cast the Arms of Hadar spell.

You can exchange energy equal to 3 in order to cast the Hunger of Hadar spell.

Concentration rules do apply but the spell components are ignored. You can cast spells this way 2 times per long rest.

Vision of Fear

10th-level Path of Genesi Marked feature

Beginning at 10th level, your connection to the Genesis Phage has strengthened to the point that you can mirror its rage and intimidating presence.

Once per short rest you can summon a spectral image of the Genesis Phage itself that envelopes your body, any enemy that you can see and that can see you within 30 ft of you must make a widsom saving throw of 8 + your proficiency modifier + your CON modifier. Enemies that fail are frightened until the end of your next turn.

Phage Expansion

14th-level Path of Genesi Marked feature

Starting at 14th level you are able to help the Genesis Phage spread into this world in order to more easily consume your foes.

Once per long rest you can use your action to summon a number of geometric patterns equal to your proficiency modifier under enemies of your choice within 60ft that you can see. From these portals creeps out a single arm of the Genesis Phage as a translucent tentacle, this tentacle reaches up and grabs onto its enemy. Each enemy makes a STR saving throw of DC 8 + Proficiency modifier + CON modifer. On a failed save they are Restrained until the end of your next turn. Any enemies that are killed(in any way)  while held this way are automatically consumed by you.
