Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Dragon Fang Rogues learn their discipline from the dragons they get their names from, known for being able to take advantage of their enemies' fear and strike fear into those that are still living.

Dragon Fang Dagger

3rd-level Dragon Fang feature

At 3rd level, you acquire a special dagger that is made from a dragon's fang. After the dagger has been thrown, and as long as the dagger is not fully encased, it will return to you as its true wielder. The dagger gets stronger as you gain levels in this class, due to your connection with the dagger becoming stronger.

3rd level - The dagger is a magic weapon that deals 1d4 piercing damage

5th level - The damage dice of the dagger becomes a d6

9th level - The dagger gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls

13th level - The dagger deals an extra dice of damage when dealing damage

17th level - The dagger gains another +1 to attack and damage rolls for a total of +2

Advantageous Fear

3rd-level Dragon Fang feature

Starting from 3rd level, you are able to take advantage of other creatures' fear. When you make an attack against a creature with the frightened condition using your Dragon Fang Dagger, you gain advantage on that attack roll.

Strike Fear

9th-level Dragon Fang feature

Starting from 9th level, you can strike fear into those you hit with your Dragon Fang Dagger.

When you successfully hit a creature with your Dragon Fang Dagger, you can use your bonus action to attempt to frighten that creature as your eyes change to match those of a dragon. The creature must make a wisdom saving throw (DC is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier) or become frightened of you for 1 minute. You have to concentrate on this effect as though you were concentrating on a spell. The creature can repeat this save if it ends it's turn in a location where it doesn't have line of sight to you. On a successful save, the creature is no longer frightened.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Eyes of the Dragon

13th-level Dragon Fang feature

At 13th level, your eyes become more likened to those of a dragon as you become able to see frightened creatures through most obscurers.

You can see any creatures with the frightened condition within 120ft as if you had Truesight, but you can’t see a shapechanger’s true form with this feature.

Fear leaves a Weakness

17th-level Dragon Fang feature

Starting at 17th level, while a creature is frightened of you, every turn it is frightened the threshold for you to score a critical hit on an attack against them with your Dragon Fang Dagger is reduced by 1, which stacks. This crit threshold is only reset on a creature once they take a short or long rest.
