Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the Path of the Storm Herald channel their rage into a chaotic, primal maelstrom. Those who walk this path become conduits of the destructive forces of nature, and are similarly unpredictable.

Level 3: Storm Aura

Entering your Rage creates a 10-foot Emanation of swirling storm around you. The area is Lightly Obscured and extinguishes exposed flames. You decide your storm's appearance: it may manifest as a shimmering haze, a crackling thunderhead, a watery vortex, or something else entirely.

Storm Strike. When you begin your Rage and as a Bonus Action on your subsequent turns, you can choose another creature or object in the Emanation you can see. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d6 Cold, Fire, or Lightning damage (your choice) on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The saving throw DC is equal to 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus.

This damage increases to 2d6 at level 6, 3d6 at level 10, and 4d6 at level 14.

Level 3: Crashing Wave

Your attacks channel ferocious natural forces: crashing waves, roaring gales, or similar. When you attack using Strength, you can use either the Push or Topple weapon mastery property for that attack (even if you attacked with an Unarmed Strike).

Level 6: Storm Soul

The heart of the storm has infused your very soul. Choose one of the following environment types: desert, sea, or tundra. Whenever you finish a Short or Long Rest, you can replace the chosen option with another one.

Desert. You have Resistance to Fire and Lightning damage. Forgoing food and drink doesn't give you levels of Exhaustion. Additionally, you can ignite flammable objects you're holding as a Magic action.

Sea. You have Resistance to Cold and Lightning damage. You can breathe underwater. You gain a Swim Speed equal to your Speed and Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already have either a Swim Speed or Darkvision, double it(s range).

Tundra. You have Resistance to Cold and Thunder damage. You can add your Constitution modifier to your Wisdom saving throws.

Level 10: Vengeful Storm

You gain the following benefits:

Cyclone Aura. While raging, the size of your Storm Aura Emanation increases to 20 feet. Ranged attacks with weapons against you have Disadvantage.

Retributive Strike. When you take damage from a creature that is within your Storm Aura, you can take a Reaction to force that creature to save against your Storm Strike.

Maelstrom Avatar

When you activate your Rage, you take on the form of a living, roiling storm. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:

Hurricane Aura. The size of your Storm Aura Emanation increases to 30 feet. Its area is Difficult Terrain for hostile creatures.

Windborne. You have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed and can hover.

Ceaseless. Your Speed can't be reduced, and you are immune to the following conditions: Grappled, Paralyzed, Petrified, Prone, Restrained, and Stunned.

Devastating Strikes. When you choose a target for Storm Strike during your turn, you may also target up to two additional creatures within 10 feet of that target. It deals double damage to objects and structures.
