Path's of Pain features

Level 3: Manifestation

As an action, you may manifest Paths of Pain. When you do:

  • Your current and maximum hit points are halved
  • You gain the Paralyzed condition
  • You cannot move, act, or take reactions
  • You perceive through all active Paths (Shared Vision)

You may maintain a number of active Paths depending on your level:

  • Level 3: 2 Path
  • Level 6: 3 Paths
  • Level 9: 4 Paths
  • Level 12: 5 Paths
  • Level 15: 6 Paths
  • Level 18: Gedo Statue

Each Path:

  • Uses your attack modifiers and saving throw DC

Command System

  • Each Path has 1 Action per turn
  • You have 1 Bonus Action and 1 Reaction total to share between different paths

Uncommanded Paths automatically take the Dodge action.

If all Paths are destroyed, you return to your body.

🔸 Path Revival

When a Path is reduced to 0 HP:

  • If a dead Medium or Small humanoid corpse is within 10 ft:
    • The corpse is consumed
    • The Path is restored at 50% HP
    • The Path returns within 30 ft

🔸 REVIVAL LIMIT (PER PATH)

Each individual Path may be revived once

This resets after:

  • Short rest
  • Long rest

🔸 Repair

As an action:

  • Restore 1d10 + CHA modifier HP to one Path

COORDINATED ASSAULT

Your Paths begin to instinctively synchronize.

  • When a Path hits a creature, the next Path that hits it before the end of the round deals +1d6 damage
  • Paths ignore opportunity attacks when moving within 5ft of another path
  • Paths gain +10 feet movement speed

BATTLEFIELD DOMINION

Your control over multiple bodies becomes refined and overwhelming.

  • All Paths gain +1 bonus to attack rolls
  • Once per round, when a Path hits a creature, another Path may move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks
  • When 2 or more Paths target the same creature in a round, that creature has disadvantage on opportunity attacks against your Paths until the start of your next turn

Level 15: JUDGEMENT DOMAIN

🔸 Enhanced Revival

  • You may revive a Path as a bonus action once per round
  • Corpses still required

🔸 Immediate Reconstitution

When a Path is revived:

  • It may immediately take an action or move up to its speed

Once per turn, when a Path hits a creature:

  • You may mark it

While marked:

  • All Paths deal +1d6 damage to it
  • Lasts until start of your next turn

🔸 Soul Efficiency

Revived Paths return at:

  • 70% HP instead of 50%

Level 18: GEDO Statue

Aura:

Enemies within 30 feet take 4d6 necrotic damage at the start of their turn and have disadvantage on saving throws against your abilities.

Lightning Chains:

Each must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d10 lightning damage and become Restrained until the end of their next turn. If already restrained, they are instead Stunned.

Lightning Blast:

You release a 60-foot line of lightning.

Creatures in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 6d10 lightning damage on a failed save.

You release a devastating wave of energy in a 60-foot cone.

Creatures take 10d10 necrotic damage. Creatures below 15% max hp may be instantly reduced to 0 HP
