Base Class: Monk
Warriors of the Lunar Tide are monks who shape their ki into a rhythmic ebb and flow, fighting with the same rise‑and‑recede motion that governs the sea. In battle they shift between the surging force of High Tide and the calm, evasive precision of Low Tide, pushing and pulling foes in a hypnotic dance of momentum. Their movements are fluid, tidal, and deliberate — each strike a crashing wave, each step a quiet withdrawal. Those who master this discipline become living reflections of the moon’s cycle, embodying its serenity, its gravity, and its power to reshape the world with patient, unstoppable motion.
Level 3: Level 3: Tide Cycle
As a bonus action, you can channel a Ki point to enter either High Tide or Low Tide. These effects last for 10 minutes. You can extend the duration of the Tide by spending additional Ki points. For every additional Ki point spent in this way you increase its duration by 10 more minutes.
In High Tide form gain the following benefits;
- Your first unarmed strike each turn deals extra damage equal to your Martial Arts Die as force damage.
- When you hit a creature with Flurry of Blows, you may push it 10 ft
In Low Tide form gain the following benefits;
- Gain a +1 bonus to your AC
- When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you may reduce its speed by 10 ft until the start of your next turn.

Level 6: Ebb and Flow
Your body flows with the tide of battle. You can move across difficult terrain without taking a speed reduction. Also, when a creature that is large or smaller misses you with a melee attack roll, you can expend 1 ki point as a reaction to try and topple that creature.
Level 11: Empowered Tidal Cycle
Your Tidal Cycle forms gain additional benefits;
High Tide
- Gain access to the spell Font of Moonlight. You can cast this once per short rest by expending a Ki point
- Your extra attack feature grants you an additional attack, allowing you to make three attacks instead of two.
Low Tide
- While in this form you can use Patient Defense without expending an additional Ki point
- You can cast the shield spell as a reaction a number of times equal to a roll of your martial arts die. You can roll a martial arts die to determine the amount of casts you get every long rest
Level 17: Tidal Champion
At the height of your training, your ki synchronises perfectly with the moon’s pull, allowing you to command the battlefield like a shifting sea
As an action, you spend 4 ki to enter a state of perfect lunar harmony for 1 minute. While in this state, you gain the following benefits:
- Your High Tide and Low Tide features are active at the same time for 1 minute
- Your unarmed strikes deal additional radiant damage equal to your proficiency bonus
- You gain advantage on all saving throws
