Level 3: Combat Superiority
Maneuvers. You learn three Gambler maneuvers of your choice. Many maneuvers enhance an attack in some way. You can use only one maneuver per attack. You learn two additional maneuvers of your choice at 7th, 10th, and 15th level. Each time you learn new maneuvers, you can also replace one maneuver you know with a different one.
Superiority Dice. You have four superiority dice, which are d8s. A superiority die is expended when you use it. You regain all of your expended superiority dice when you finish a short or long rest. You gain another superiority die at 7th level and one more at 15th level.
Saving Throws. Some of your maneuvers require your target to make a saving throw to resist the maneuver's effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:
Maneuver save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice)
Sleeving cards: Store any roll to be used later. other abilities can interact with this “sleeve”, so keep it in mind.
Rollin’ Hot: If you roll consecutive numbers when rolling to hit, double your damage. for example, if you roll a 10 one turn, then roll an 11, double your damage. this stacks. does not cap. resets after a miss or until you are hit in any way.
Parlay: Gather 1 or more party members. everyone involved flips a coin, and if everyone gets the same side, add +2d6 per member of the parlay to whatever you were rolling for.
Shuffle The Deck: Reroll any dice, cooldown of 1d6.
Due For It: if you roll under half of a dice’s total for 3 turns, gain a pity roll of 15 in your sleeve.
Under The Table: give another player the roll in your sleeve. can be used regardless of turn order.
Slots: roll 3d8. if rolling 3 of the same number, heal the total of your rolls. can be extended to others.

Level 10: Know Your Enemy

- Strength score
