Base Class: Bard
While most bards focus on spellcasting, you've spent years refining the art of actually performing in battle.
Level 3: Song and Dance
- As an action, you spend one bardic inspiration die + a spell slot at least higher than or equal to proficiency bonus (maximum of level 5) to gain the following benefits and maluses, concentrating on performing a song with your voice or a musical instrument of your choice, be it anywhere or in the midst of battle :
- Your song and dance lasts 1h or until stopped.
- You gain AC equal to 10 + your dexterity and charisma modifiers.
- As long as you perform, you cannot use actions or bonus actions except for continuing your Song and Dance. Your speed is also halved, and you need to keep concentration as per the rules of any spell requiring it.
- You also gain an aura within 30 feet, lifting yourself and all allies within reach :
- You or any allied creature sarting its turn within your aura gets inspired as per your bardic inspiration feature and can also spend their inspiration die on damage rolls instead if they so choose.
Level 6: Increased Lucidity
While performing your Song and Dance, you gain the following benefits :
- You gain advantage on concentration saving throws.
- Your vicious mockery damage die becomes a d10, and you can cast vicious mockery as a cantrip without interrupting Song and dance.
Level 14: Master of Song
- You've learned to now use your full movement, actions and bonus actions while Song and Dance is active.
- Once per round if not cast as an action, Vicious mockery can now be cast as a bonus action on your turn or as a reaction when an opportunity attack would take place.
